Stress has been kicking my ass lately, so I decided to explore a “mini” sketchy style to relax a bit. It’s a whole lot of fun to draw!

Meet (again?) my OCs: Lynn (left), a strong dork gal and accidental vigilante! Salvatore (Right), a snarky and sly rogue, with a side of dumbass! At the center, meet Achard, who belongs to @thecrimsonvalley-creates! He's a snarky and cool occultist, who happens to be morosexual. Him and Salvatore are very much a thing~

1. who’s your favorite oc?

I… Can’t possibly choose amont them. Honestly. I have so many of them and I love them all in their own way. Of course, some are closer to my heart than others but I still don’t think I can ever pick a favourite among them.

2. who was your first oc?

Goodness, I don’t even have any pictures of her. As far as my memory goes, the first OC I created (I was in the beginning of secondary school, so like… maybe 11-12 years old) was… a furry actually. A fox anthro character, named Foxy (admire the originality) inspired from a fighting game I played at my neighbours’ place on the NES and Disney’s Robin Hood. All I remember is that she was a skater and had a dog bff.

10. are any of your ocs part of a story? if so, what is it about and who’s in it?

Yes, my paranormal gang! They have their own stories that I want to draw someday and also have become a (big!) part of Solace, a novel that @thecrimsonvalley is writing! 

There they are all (except Hilde) preparing Dismas (the second main character of said novel) for his date (with Tanush, the main character). From left to right you have: Leif (a näck), Dismas ((who belongs to Crimson) a shapeshifter), Pavel (a bogeyman), Edna (a banshee) and Jack (an enchanted scarecrow).

23. which oc do you think has affected you the most as you’ve grown with them?

I think it is Lynn. Who was named Mina-Kate when I created her in secondary school. She’s one of my oldest OCs (I think I created her in 2001, something like that) and she changed and evolved a lot alongside with me. She was once at the center of a story I was writing (and was actually a twin soul of Reino, whom I mention in the previous ask) but I had a hard time with her in fact, and I didn’t like her that much...

I wanted her to be a strong kickass character but she always ended up sad and being horribly abused and I didn’t really comprehend why (spoiler alert: I was totally projecting). The more I grew up accepting myself (including the bad stuff) and the more she evolved herself, actually showing strength and becoming who I really wanted her to be.

On the left, a sketch of 2005, a Lynn who was desperate because of a fate she didn’t want and forced herself to smile even though she was feeling inadequate and sad.

On the right, a sketch of 2020, a Lynn who’s a bundle of joy and kicks ass (figuratively and physically) and is a small vigilante, protecting those who are abused instead.

They have a lot of anger inside as well, but contrary to them, I contain it. 1: sexuality headcanon: Demi-homosexual, possibly panromantic.2: otp: Him and Lenka, and also being in a polyamorous relationship with Dennis, Walter and Chase!3: brotp: He has a real soft spot for his colleague Martin (even of he doesn’t show it very much).4: notp: No one that comes into mind5: first headcanon that pops into my head: If you look in the dictionary for social awkwardness, you got a picture of him.6: favorite line from this character: “Um… It’s… a nice weather we’re having.”7: one way in which I relate to this character: Social awkwardness and shyness all over!8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: I thought he was demi-pan and the more I played with him, the more I realized he wasn’t attracted by females. I’m a bit sad about that but I can’t help it!9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Cinnamon roll, definitely!

Lynn

1: sexuality headcanon: Demi-Hetero, panromantic, though I have a feeling she could be /sexually/ attracted towards non binary people.2: otp: I’m still amazed as how it came through but she’s in a poly relationship with Walter & Chase (tho it’s only romantically for the latter).3: brotp: her and Pavel, they have like the strongest bond ever. She’s friends with many people (and secretly admires Jamie for embracing so much her feminity… I somehow suspect Linn is genderfluid or demi-girl.)4: notp: None I can think of.5: first headcanon that pops into my head: She’s dead in the mornings so she caterpillars on the floor to the kitchen. (That started as a joke but it’s hella canon now!)6: favorite line from this character: None that I can remember.7: one way in which I relate to this character: Lynn is actually a very old character I have, and I revamped her for this universe. I wished I was like her, for a very long time. But I relate to her in that way that she’s a bit silly and doesn’t care much of social expectations.8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: I’m unsure I can see anything there.9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? 1, Kummu (TES dunmer OC)

What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.

It variates. Kummuu can fall asleep lying on his side, in fetal position and wake up on his back in the middle of the bed with his blanket inverted. It is probably due to an agitated sleep, lots of dreams, etc. It yet changes if he’s sleeping with someone (obv, someone he has feelings for.). He’s calmer and will then wake up as close as possible from them.

15, Pavel (Sedgemarch RP OC)

Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?

For small/easy tasks (ie: reading the newspaper and making coffee), he can. But if he gets focused on something important -or worse: if a case troubles him, he turns out to be monomaniac, fully obsessed by his current task and practically unable to do anything else (which caused him to be yelled at a few times, and skip some meals).

Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?

What’s a weird bedroom habit even? xD All right, we’re going a bit NSFW there so hide your children!

No more seriously, I’ve had Lynn for a long time into another universe, but I “adapted” her to Sedge and at first, I was convinced she was asexual. I believe she is demisexual now, after she fell in love with Walter Stone himself and experiences sexual sexual attraction towards him. But back to topic, I don’t think she has any ‘unusual’ kinks. As lots of people, she loves fantasizing before falling asleep mostly about characters having sexual intercourse.

There something that might be out of usual though: she is in love with Walter and Chase, who are officially a couple and are into a polyamorous relationship with her. Among her fantasies before sleep, -and when she isn’t with them, of course- she thinks of all the sweet things she could -and will- do with them (or at least Walter, as Chase isn’t sexually attracted towards females… Platonic kisses and touches of the upper body yet became a very serious thing for them!) or moments when she would team up with Chase and drive Walter insane.

She also loves being sandwiched between the two of them while they sleep… or sandwiching one of them. But that isn’t a kink, really.

7, Pyro (TF2 RP OC)

How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?

At first, Pyro had a negative view of themselves for one simple reason. They were born a girl, but never felt like a girl… But neither felt as a boy. It was terrible for them, as they were forced to dress up in cute pink dresses in their childhood, and never felt like this was right. With time, Pyro defined themselves as a male, mostly because it was the best way for them to achieve what they wanted. They kept their hair short and hid their shapes thanks to their outfit. They also thought that since they didn’t identify as a girl, then they had to identify as a male… until they realized they were neither and stopped caring about it. It was at the moment their team showed that they accepted and loved Pyro as they were, not as a gendered person but just as “Pyro”.

Nowadays, Pyro perceive themselves as neutral. They don’t care about their gender being neutral/non-binary, and even if they are called as a cute and sweet person, they know they have some blood on their hand and don’t fully regret it (due to their mercenary work).
