“So it seems I was just in time,” The red head teased, unable to help the smile tugging at her lips. She gives a nod at his suggestion, reaching up to curl a lock of hair behind her ear. “I think a date would be nice. I don't think I've ever actually been on one."
Send 🛌 for our muses to wake up in bed together after having had sex together for the first time the night before.
The soft rays of sunlight gliding through her open curtains are what wake her- or maybe it’s this sudden sense that she’s being watched, a soft sound exhaling her warm body when she shifts to get up. The thousand-count Egyptian cotton sheets are tangled between her legs but that’s not what keeps her tethered to the bed, it’s the warm, toned arms curled around her tight that pulls her closer and makes an instant vermillion hue overtake her sun-kissed cheeks. Oh God- the events of the night before are coming back, every kiss, bite, the way he pressed her down and all those embarrassing noises she made.
She can feel his breath against her flesh when he pressed a kiss to the back of her neck, his hands stroking over her stomach gently, nails scratching over the sensitive flesh.
“Don’ get up.” Tokki’s voice is a grumbled, sleepy mess of words that make her chest swell. She wasn’t even sure of what would happen after the night before when she simply let herself go and gave in to the feelings she held for him for a while- if she’s being honest with herself, she thought he would be gone by now, not here clutching onto her and trying to keep her from breaking their peace. She’s unsure of how to respond, settling for a nod of her head as she snuggled back into his hold, tugging at the covers to get more comfortable. As she lay there, she can feel the little aches and pains from being bitten and she closed her eyes, enjoying the sensation of being in someone’s arms again after such a long time.
His snores are a soft soundtrack that helps her find her way back to dreamland, ignoring the fact that she has a photo shoot in three hours on the other side of the world. She could reschedule for another day and even if she couldn’t, it was worth it to have Tokki with her for even one more moment.
Calypso is sure that this must be a dream. She’d awoken that morning under her comfortable silk sheets with a strong arm curled around her waist. She would’ve snuggled against them if not for the fact that when she’d fallen asleep the night prior, she was sure she’d been alone. Cracking her eyes open, she could make out the sleeping face of Nathan, his boyish features even more prominent as tiny snores escaped his open mouth. How had Nathan gotten there? Maybe she’d sleepily texted him in the middle of the night and he showed up to sleep over. He was always accommodating her needs and he was so sweet all of the time. That had to be it, right?
She tried to scoot away slowly without waking him up, but his grip only tightens and he mutters something akin to, “don’t go,” before pulling her closer and nuzzling the top of her head. She can feel every part of him pressed against her, his warmth, his smell saturated in the air, the feel of his heart beating against her. It’s all very overwhelming. This isn’t the first time he’s slept over before, but it is the first that feels different; she can’t stop the flush of her cheeks as she wiggles carefully once more to escape his arms even if she becoming addicted to it.
“N-Nathan, come on, wake up,” She said softly, trying to shimmy away, but Nathan had none of it. He groaned at being woken up and chuckles when he realizes she’s wiggling all over, clutching at her and giving her a playful squeeze. Her heart stuttered in her chest as she exhaled a little giggle before finally giving up. His fingers were gentle as they brush along her sides before caressing her stomach. Her breath hitched and he pats her stomach, making her huff in response.
“Nice to see you’re finally awake, Mr.” She grumbled as he allowed her to scoot to the edge of the bed and slide off carefully.
“Well, I couldn’t keep my dear wife waiting.” Wait- Calyspo froze in her steps and began to cough from sheer surprise; Nathan quickly reached the end of the bed and slid off to pat her back and help with the random coughing fit.
“Baby, are you okay?” He stroked her back and she is caught between wanting to keep him close and wanting to push him away because of his silly joke. She didn’t miss the term of endearment he said either; he’d never called her that before.
“I- Y-Yeah, I’m fine. That joke was so not funny!” She turned to poke at him in retaliation, but her eyes are suddenly drawn to something on her hand as he spoke. That thing hadn’t been on her hand before. She would’ve definitely remembered that.
“What joke?”
There sat a ring on the appropriate finger, a cute single band with a diamond perched on top for all to see.
She stared at the ring before looking back at him, blinking rapidly in surprise.
“W-We’re married?” Nathan snorted in response before ducking down to kiss her forehead, brushing some of her fiery red locks out of her eyes.
“You’re being silly, babe. We’ve been married for two years.” Two years, how in the hell had she woken up in a time where she’s married to someone she may or may not have had strong feelings for? Raising a hand to her head, Calypso stopped trying to rationalize it because it was giving her a headache.
“Come back to bed and I’ll go get you some water. You look a little sick.” The water nymph let her ‘husband’ guide her back to bed and sit her along the edge, trying to come to terms with her apparent marriage. At least it was to someone she already lov-
Calypso had never truly been a physical person. Back on her island, the women were harsher and much more stoic than human emotions could produce. Affection was gained through combat or skill, not through an emotional bond or attachment. Even her mother had quickly abandoned her when she became old enough to hunt for herself and take care of herself; but there had always been a large, gaping hole in her chest from the lack of attention for her emotional well-being. The fiery redhead did not know how to show how she felt when she first arrived in America. Her face had remained straight-laced and tight-lipped and she wouldn’t look anyone in the eyes because she felt they were beneath her (she often still did).
But, over time, Calypso found herself in a world much different from her own. Humans and creatures alike were much more keen on showing affection through physical means such as hand holding, hugging, and cuddling, and it was something that she instantly grew an affinity for. If not for Lu, the resident cat and mascot for the tower she resided in, then it was his little rabbit friend, Jae. Jae was cute, very sweet, and always found his way into Calypso’s arms to be held or to cuddle while they watched something on the television. That’s how she truly grew used to the idea of openly sharing her feelings with others.
It’s a normal Tuesday night and she has no other plans for the next day besides soaking in the sun on the balcony and maybe a bit of shopping with her new shopping buddy, Godric. Jae is curled up in her arms, eyes intent on the children’s movie displayed on the screen, his slender form warm against her. Carefully, she curled an arm around him, her free hand gently stroking his soft locks. He often reminds her of a small animal in need of protection. Calypso had never been the nurturing or maternal type, but for some reason, Jae had decided to cling onto her from their initial meetings and here they were. Slowly but surely, she could feel is breathing slow, quietly little sighs exhaling from him as he drifted off into dreamland. Humming softly, she decided to stay here to finish the movie, allowing her little rabbit more time to nap against her.
“You’re right, we should. Tell me your next free schedule and we can go buy expensive food and judge people’s choice of clothes-” She wasn’t sure which part of the offer she was more excited about.

[ Okay, so even though you sent this one, I had a really fun idea that combined three! ;; I promise Lypso isn’t as bad as she seems

“Look, Lypso, I can’t keep pulling strings to get you into college if all you do is get kicked out.” The dragon born scoffed under her breath as she stared at her father, the oldest of their kind to date, arms crossed petulantly as she tried to stare a hole out her window at the passing scenery from their packed car. Another college full of piss poor creatures that would annoy the fiery red head, no doubt, but she knew that her father was right no matter how much she wanted to disagree. He was always right in some way, no matter how much she tried to fight her way from under his wings. Dragons are known for their temper, and are rare in this day and age, so the students thought it would be a fun past-time to get Calypso angry. She sent a vampire to the hospital and broke a Witch’s leg, nearly setting fire to the entire building.
Naturally, the dean, an old bat (literally) felt it would be best if Tidus, her father, found a place… more… suitable for her intense… physical capabilities. The road stretched out far, but before long, Calypso could see the tell tale signs of her new college, the name something generic about magic (she hadn’t read the guide. She burned it and used the ashes for painting). Her father is cordial with Dean Masterson, a fellow golfing buddy and a wood nymph, to get his daughter on the right foot and she’s silent or else she would have set fire to his desk.
“Remember, be nice. Play sports. Go flying to calm down. No fire-” She cut her father off, the pair standing in front of the door that would lead her to her new roommate. All of the other single rooms had been filled and she had arrived half way through the semester. Go figure.
“No fire. No fun. No friends. Got it. Can we do the awkward hug so you can go?” They aren’t the closest, but Calypso sheds her hard shell long enough to give her father a tight hug, breathing in his homely scent of ember and smoke. Dragons, although quite lonesome, are fiercely attached to their children. She both hated and loved that about her dad. She shot him a small smile and watched him walk down the corridor before turning and vanishing from view. Taking in a deep, calm breath, the red head turned to the door and reached for the knob, turning it and heading inside.
The scent of perfume hits her first, making her nose scrunch up as she stared at the other mystical being in the room. “……. I’m your new roommate, Calypso.”
