Been a While!
Been a while! lately I've been super busy, i just got back from the bahamas, i was on tour in the U.S.A, and i have some new sponsorships to tell you about!
USA Tour Recap
In November, I went on a 10 day American tour that featured shows in Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I played a total of 12 shows while I was there; needless to say, I was very busy but had a great time! While in Cleveland we took an afternoon off to go see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
JikPiks
Recently when I was in St. Catharines, I was introduced to Johnny Farynycz, otherwise known as Jik who has his own line of custom guitar picks (JikPiks). After playing with these picks for about an hour on my electric guitar I really grew to like them. We ended up talking and he agreed to sponsor me with custom handmade Lyric Dubee guitar picks.
The Bahamas
In the beginning of January I was in the Exumas Bahamas, of course I had to bring my guitars. While there I got to play with a local rake & scrape band called the Sweet Love band, a truly talented group of musicians. We had such a good time the first night that they invited me back to fill in for their absent guitar player (Brent) at their next gig! Everyone was so friendly and I was able to meet many new friends. I also got to swim with stingrays while I was there. It was SO cool. All in all it was a great trip and I'd love to go again!
Grade 7 Classical RCM Exam
The latest thing that I've been up to is my grade 7 RCM classical exam. I was well prepared for the exam but when I entered the exam room it was absolutely freezing! My hands were shaking and my teeth were chattering, the whole 9 yards. However, I do think I passed. It is only a matter of what I passed with. I hope to get somewhere in the 75+!
