It’s been five days since the public whipping, and although the long, still tender gashes crisscrossing the wide expanse of his back had been barely attended to, Frank was still taking the time to find a way to maintain his muscular physique. He may not have access to a gym and weights, but pushups and pull-ups can go a long way when you know what you’re doing. There were at certain points in his routine where he felt a sharp pinch along his back, blood pouring out of a reopened gash, dripping onto the concrete floors of his cell. The pain and discomfort were easy to ignore, he’s suffered through worse, he’s been prepared for worse.
He heard a set of footsteps coming to a slow halt in front of his cell, and without pausing or even glancing up to see who it was, Franklin spoke before they could get a word out. “Don’t get your panties in a twist about your floors, I’ll clean it up myself when I’m done.”

Mid-morning was probably the dullest part of Franklin’s day, with Dorian off at work and his hour at the gym over, the blond soldier typically found himself bored and alone. Fortunately, today was different, Dorian had done him a kindness and allowed Lysander to stay with them-- with some strings attached, of course. Franklin, hair still wet from his shower, passed the master bedroom spying the other human strewn across the bed, still fast asleep. “Hey, sleeping beauty,” he called out to Lysander, plucking a few pillows off the ground as he crossed the threshold into the room and tossed them at his friend’s sleeping form. “Do you plan on getting up soon, or did Dorian suck the life out of you last night?”
