Five minutes
Last night, I was tagged by @moodyrebelmage to write for five minutes solid. It’s actually hugely helpful to me to write for someone when I’m stuck like I’ve been lately, so thank you, thank you, thank you.
It was way harder than I thought it was going to be. Anyway here it is, five minutes of solid writing. Which it turns out is not very much writing, when you’re me. Silly Lyta stuff from shortly after the main game, but before Trespasser, which I haven’t played yet.
Lyta didn’t want to sleep. By her, it would be fine if she never did again. Tea wasn’t cutting it anymore though and that Qunari sludge the Bull had given her was proving just as useless in warding off drowsiness. What did he call that anyway? Cocoa, she thought maybe. When she said that she was fine and insisted she would be all right, she hadn’t at all anticipated that it would be like this, that sleeping would cease to be a source of rest, that dreams would always bring more exhaustion during the day. That left the work. She could do the work. It wasn’t what she wanted but there were messes left by the the chaos, and messes borne of trying to stop it, and she had work to do. If she could stay awake.
If you’re feeling it, I’m tagging @floryanna, @gryphye, and @dorianpink. I’m also tagging anyone else that’s feeling up to this. Please, go nuts and tell me you did it, because I’m flaky with my dash lately.
