"The underlying principal of M House was to create a restful and private family home that receded into the landscape using immersive planting from the rooftop cascading down, visible from every room, and planting from the ground up. Encouraging nature to envelop the structure, blurring lines between outside and in, allows the home to disappear behind the greenery, providing privacy and tranquility."

“ The terraces are the heart of the house, a set of interconnected spaces, whose uses will depend on the time of the day and the temperature. The main terrace is the crown of the interior common area, it is roofed, has a fireplace and a glass enclosure to protect from the cold. The front terrace is exposed to the sun and reaches the best sea view. The rear garden, where the barbecue area and the stove are located, is an open outdoor space sheltered from the wind.”

昨年の秋に地鎮祭をさせて頂いてから 既存の建物を一部残してリノベーションをさせて頂き ずっと前からこの土地に居た100歳にも及ぶ 欅の木を取り除き、倉庫、住宅を壊した跡に 新しく住宅を建てさせて頂いております。 色んな思いが交わりながらも仕事を進めさせて頂き 工事も終盤に差し掛かってきました。 新しい住宅の建物はこの土地ならではの配置で ２棟くっついた様な形になり75°の角度になりました。 リノベーションした平屋と新しい住宅が 対照的でありながらも共存し、一つの敷地に 並んでいる様は経緯をふくめ感慨深い物があります。

今月末に竣工を迎えるM house 施主様のご好意により3日間のオープンハウスを させて頂ける事になりました。 いつもの様にこちらの許容関係上 お手数ですが御予約制とさせて頂いております。 ご興味有る方はメッセージ、メール、電話等 お申し込みお待ちしております。
