This is such a big moment for Michonne. I’m like OMG. This vol. is such a good story arc for Michonne.

I saved some pics from the Michonne standalone comics (I think, or..). It’s also part of when the survivors found ASZ. It also reminds me of tv-Michonne when she doesn’t miss the sword. Ok ...I added more Michonne pics...so yeah it’s a big Michonne post. :P

Idk why but it also seems like romantic moment in 179. Giving her katana to Rick. It’s like some common romantic / action movie trope.

During the Richonne panel at WSC Atlanta ‘17, Andy was teasing and said, “I’ll hold your katana, darling.” It reminded me of the comics when Michonne returned from “pirating” or..away from her friends and family for a long time. During the time when she was away, Ezekiel had her sword. (In the video game she had a different kind of sword.)

*issue 139 is a great issue about Michonne. Spoilery for possible storylines this season (s8) and the next.

-kinda funny seeing comic-Rick there in the pic. Also, it’s funny, to parallel Andy/tv-Rick to comic-Ezekiel. There’s been so many posts of comic-Andrea/tv-Michonne. so yeah.
