The light came flashing forward through his eyes and his lungs burned as they filled with air, the force bringing him to life once again and he began to spit and sputter. It slowly formed into a cough and he kept on choking until his lungs finally filled and he was breathing heavily. What was going on? He’d been dead for years, nothing but blackness and every now and again he’d feel the force drag him out to speak to Luke but this, this was different.
Anakin groaned as he pushed himself forward, heavy puffs of breath being pushed from his nose due to the effort he was putting forth. If the force was going to resurrect him the least they could’ve done was give him enough energy to sit up. Either way, he blinked back the sun and pushed himself up fully, wiping off the dirt from his pants and he started to hobble along the road.
It felt like a dream almost, being alive again, if that’s what this was. And it continued to feel like that as the days turned into weeks and he still didn’t know what he was doing here. He wondered if he’d ever know and that question was finally answered when he stumbled upon a child. She was sitting all by her lonesome it seemed and his heart tugged for some reason. It reminded him of a younger version of himself, stuck on Tatooine as a slave. Oddly enough this place was similar that he was on. He dropped some credit onto the table she was at, sitting across from her with a smile. “Hey, you mind some company?”
