Brock had been the most responsible of the 4 siblings he had. He was the second youngest, and one of the three males in the family. His mother was a high school drop out trying to get into college and his father was a workaholic in the military.
Brock was supposed to be just like his father, as was his older brother, however Brock saw other doors and he wanted to open them all. At first, the young man wanted to be a math teacher since he had always been incredibly educated and found a passion in mathematics. What changed was that when his best friend came to him feeling suicidal, he was able to comfort them and talk them out of committing. He stayed with them the whole night and made sure they were okay.
In that moment, Brock knew what he would do. He wanted to help people, talk to them, and become close with them. His dreams of becoming a therapist were born and he even spoke to his siblings about it since they were closer to him than their parents.
Brock graduated high school and began taking courses in a University near County Line Jail. He only began working at County Line Group Home when his professor assigned them jobs for experience as one of their major projects. If he failed here, he could fail his course and so Brock needs to follow the guidelines and commit to being a counselor here. He mustn’t have any romantic or sexual relations with a criminal, nor is he allowed to discriminate against or judge the ways of the other counselors. This is going to be a difficult task for the young man.
