Watching FORBIDDEN PLANET during dinner tonight.  Funny, I’ve never seen the scene of Robby the Robot carrying a beautiful, scantily-clad blonde.  And I’m pretty sure this kid would’ve noticed it.

I do love ‘old school science fiction.’  There’s something so wondrous and exploratory and, yes, somewhat innocent, about much of it. I feel as though we’ve lost much of that sense of wonder and I feel a bit sorry for the current generation in that regard.
