Because this is the only thing that didn’t make any damn sense in the whole ass movie. How did an injured man beat them out into the snow by a football fields length, when they had a head start because they were right by the door?? I mean you can see the door in the beginning of this scene!! And they’re not just taking a leisurely stroll. They’re like legit running as best they can in the snow!
