I made this last summer. It was originally meant to be the artwork for a Stardew Valley character mod. The plan was to replace Emily, but after finishing everything, it just didn't feel right to replace one of the original characters.
After that, I decided to turn him into an original character named Eibilis. I even finished writing all of his dialogue, but the event scripting completely drove me insane🖐️😑🤚
So I've decided to share it instead, since I probably won't ever finish the project. Please don't use it to make your own mod—I just wanted to release it for everyone to see.
I really should be working on the things I'm actually supposed to draw, but my brain just wouldn't stop thinking about my pink-haired OC, so... here's one more.
Also, this jacket actually exists in real life. I drew it because it's my favorite winter jacket. It's not an exact copy, though—some of the details are different since I was drawing it mostly from memory. 💦
In case anyone's curious about the brand, it's called etre au sommet.
I’m an illustrator from Taiwan. My pen name was inspired by ocean tides, which is why I chose the name 「汐矢」.
Its English and Japanese phonetic rendering—and how it’s spoken—is Shioya. I don’t introduce myself using a Chinese pen name, and instead use M-SY as my online alias.
(Another reason is that I only recently discovered that Shioya is actually a place name… lol, and it’s surprisingly easy to run into name overlaps. Using M-SY makes it easier to tell me apart.)
SY is short for Shioya, and M is simply my favorite-sounding letter.

If nothing unexpected happens, I’ll be updating Tumblr more frequently with daily content.
For Instagram, Threads, and Bluesky, I usually post only when I feel like sharing a new illustration!
I barely use Facebook anymore, but… yes, the link is still there. It’s where I first started sharing my work.
More illustrations can be found on my personal website—it’s not very professional, but it’s made with a lot of care
(♡˙︶˙♡) .。oO (and it’s expensive).
Chinese is my native language. In most situations where English is needed, I rely on translation. My English isn’t very good, so if you spot any mistakes, please feel free to correct me—I really don’t mind!
If you enjoy my work and would like to support me, you can also buy me a cup of Ko-fi.
