NOTE: ^I bought a copy of the 2020 Relapse reisise, and I still never listen to that shit because of how flat and dull it sounds. It's got ZERO audio dynamics whatsoever, and it's a complete garbage mixing job, full stop.

Spotlight on the unofficial CD pressing of the "NIH Nightmare" 1983-1987 numbered compilation by Tokyo hardcore punk/heavy metal band G.I.S.M., released by the U.S.-based JPC label as JPC-001 in 1995. Limited to 1000 copies (first press), and 500 in the second. My own personal copy is 000063 out of 1000, mind you all. 💿💢💥

Anyway, there's some great copies of this comp still available on discogs if any of you out there are interested, and it remains my favorite go-to G.I.S.M. album for all my glammy/hardcore/heavy metal/noise/thrash needs. It sounds amazing, in other words.

MY CD COPY FINALLY ARRIVED -- A CD PRESSING 36 YEARS IN THE MAKING.

NOTE: My laundry list of complaints still runs high, though, as no liner notes, photos of the band, or lyrics were included, and even a jewel case would've been preferable to what we got. Sure, the music's great, but if you're gonna officially release something after 36 fucking long years, at least make it worth the wait. Relapse kinda cheaped out on this CD release in the end.
