Dear new tenant,
Welcome to your new house. I hope you enjoy the view and the coziness of this it as much as I did while I stayed in it. I’m sorry for the paw prints at the front door, they were a part of the decoration before I moved in, along with the box at the attic.
I hope I can trouble you if by accident my mail slips through your mailbox. I’ve changed directions at the post office, but you might know how it can be. You would’ve thought it impossible in 2006, but, as it is, if it isn’t such a hassle, please be so kind as to send it to the 1620 North of the Wall.
Sincerely,
Sansa Stark.
The thought of replying never crossed his mind. Truth was, he was kind of too impressed with the politeness of the letter and even though his field of work had urged him to have neat handwriting, he was kind of rough on the edges as to actually write something as nice as the lady had. Pretty A's and B's wasn't gonna' do the trick. Besides, he had many things to fix in the house —paint some walls, change a few rotten woods and uncover some pipes— since it had been abandoned for quite some time, which meant the lady had made a mistake by sending the letter to his mailbox. So, actually sitting down to write a probably unwanted reply was kind of out of discussion for Jon.
That was until he found himself painting the front bridge that led to the house and a stray dire wolf suddenly ran past him, leaving the same paw prints the lady had mentioned. It was crazy, of course, but curiosity won the best of him and as he inquired about her mistakingly writing to the Winterfell house by the lake instead to the Frey house by the river and him noticing her misspelling of 2006 instead of 2004, he was truly curious about the paw prints.
