Man I just fucking love space don't even get me started space was like one of the main things involved in my move away from religion. I mean if I had to pick one thing? It's vastness. In that vastness lies secrets unknown to our limited little perspectives on this singular floating rock. It's so infinite that there could be an entire space empire somewhere in spaces hundreds of millions the size of our planet. Unimaginable beauty and happenstances tucked away into their corner of oblivion housing ever new concepts and things as we exist and even with vehicles capable of travel to these distant outreaches and the most diligent of studies we would never be able to see let alone comprehend it all.

my father and brother are two of the most obnoxious creatures I've ever had the displeasure of having to be physically close to

I've only known him what like 2 years or something?

We met in the oddest of ways really
I was writing something and met someone else because of it and she introduced me to him and we didn't really speak much at first? But we just kind of met through a friend and thus were sort of just friends from the start it took awhile before there was any real development between our relationship as friends
But man when there was
It was just refreshing overall to speak with him, goof off with him, write shit with him, vent with him, do all sorts of shit with him that was over-archingly just awesome
We clicked politically, in personal interests, and just really got along and because of some personal shit I was dealing with, though I probably didn't express it, his being there to do stuff with and recovery from the aforementioned shit helped me phenomenally in achieving what I have. From dealing with anxiety and shitty people around me, to overcoming faults in my personality and the like he has helped me in so many fucking ways and I can't fucking thank him enough, honestly. He was there when I was teetering on the edge of suicide as a means of escapism as I recovered and saw me through a rigorous couple of years of highschool both in the academic and social sense. Through the highs and lows his being there was one of the driving forces that got me through it.
And as the present trudges on I have him to goof off with on all the shit we get up to, from dually writing one hell of a crackfic to screwing around on minecraft, our to-be cosplay endeavors (hopefully), and so much more. And as we laugh, cry, run and tentatively tiptoe our way through life I am glad to have been given the chance to spend this journey as his best friend, no matter how much we may or may not grow apart as time works its ways upon us.

So a couple years ago we were planning a disney trip (which we just got back from) and were considering the cruise. Disney shipped a DVD about the cruise, which I watched a few times thinking yEAH CRUISE or whatever.
And when they got to the part where they're on Disney's private island they show shots of beach goers all happy and whatnot
And they pan over one family which comprises over two really young girls and an older woman
And the only unusual thing is that the older woman and one of the young girls are like
