it’s been a while. somehow stumbling through this patch of unscheduled territory, mulling in the limbo of not knowing where I’ll be next year. In the meantime, hope I can get caught up with everything I hope of myself, including writing, reading, napping, and eating. Not a bad way to live out the rest of this gifted off-time.

Today, it ends. A number of interviews later, I’m done with this crazy trail. Maybe the hardest part, putting them all in ranking order, is yet to come. But for now I can sit in this coffee shop, enjoy this breezy weather with a dirty chai, and think about that stuff... later. I will enjoy this mini vacation, then in a week (if all paperwork goes through!) a trip to India for both professional and personal education, then multiple weekend trips and a cruise and... the start of being a real grownup.

Today, it begins.
