A U.S. M5A1 light tank, Stuart VI in British service. Here with the 15th Scottish Division, Germany, 1945.
Built by the Cadillac division of General Motors, it was nicknamed the 'Honey' by British crews who appreciated its comfortable ride. It's good armour 2" and fast road-speed 36MPH compensated for it's small armament (37mm main gun) and lack of range (75 miles cross-country).
The divisional badge has been scratched out on this photo by war-time censors, but some uncensored photos exist. (FTP)
