The man winced as he wrapped the tape around his now bloody hands. It wasn’t his intention to get this messy but sometimes a job calls for more force than you expect. He tucked his hand in his pocket as he walked back out of the alley, tugging his coat closer to him with his free hand so that it wouldn’t be as noticeable that he was covered in another mans blood.
His cell beeped, signalling that he’d been paid and he looked down for a moment as he retrieved his cell and that’s when he rammed into another body. It was small but not frail, kind of solid. His eyes looked up and locked with hers before he checked her over to see if any blood had gotten on her. Jake cursed under his breath as he noticed some had smudged on her clothes and on her forehead. He was in deep shit if he couldn’t fix this.
