Happy birthday, and Happy New Year! I don’t think there will ever be enough words to describe how much you mean to me, and how much I care about you - so I’m going to keep this short and sweet. You make me want to be better, to do better. You are my best friend, my right hand, my go to, and the ray of sunshine in my life. I will die a happy man from just simply having you in my life, and doing right by you.

As much as I enjoy the company of both my sister and your parents, I think us spending a week with them collectively calls for some alone time - hence, the hotel room. There is no one else I would rather ring in the New Year with.

Mina, 

I know there are no words that could possibly make today easier for you, and truth be told, I have no words to say at the moment. But it also wouldn’t sit right with me if I allowed you to go through this alone. 

I rented out a small airbnb for a couple of days. Nothing too obnoxious and fancy, just a safe space for us to spend a few days without having to worry about school, work, and everything else from the outside world. And before you think you have a choice and say no...you don’t :) I already called your job and told your sisters to figure it out for a few days, so don’t worry about them. I just hope you don’t mind if Elle comes with us. Forgot I gave the nanny the week off, and she’s been wanting to see you for a while now. 

Whatever you need me to do today, I’m here. Seriously - whatever you need from me, just say the word. I’ll see you soon beautiful, looking forward to it.
