“More like with you.” Mina casually looks over Hyejeong’s shoulder so she can catch another glimpse of the trio of guys who, just a few minutes ago, were asking directions from them. Unfortunately, the two of them weren’t too familiar with the area either - especially not with Mina being generally directionally challenged. “You should talk to them,” she declares, giggling and poking the taller female’s sides. “I don’t think they recognised us at all so we should just go and try to talk to them again - navigate this area together.”

“Huh?” The younger male’s voice take several seconds to sink in and be digested, and even after the only reaction Mina has to them is complete confusion. “Who?” She looks over her shoulder, towards the direction of the group of guys - a collection of fellow idols and some of the broadcast station’s staff members - were gathered, getting ready for the show they were all filming. They were all chitchatting earlier, just making small talk - she hadn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary.

Granted, Mina’s never really been the sharpest pencil in the box, especially not when it comes to things like this. Flirtatious actions and comments easily go over her head, and this time, unless Ethan’s just playing with her, is no different. “You probably read wrong,” she decides, turning her attention back on the younger male. “Or they were all just being friendly!”

Mina stares at him, lips pursed as she tries to suppress the smile threatening to appear on them. Mark being ridiculously stubborn over something so trivial and silly that it was almost cute. “Sure, you’re not -” She can’t help herself though; in the end she has to get some sort of teasing retort in.

It really does baffle her; Mark was never a very jealous friend, so this is new even for her. She wouldn’t even have guessed he would have some slight insecurities regarding their other common friend, but considering how well she knows Mar, a simple slip of the tongue on his part told her a lot. You know you’re always going to be my best friend, right? is what she wants to say, but for some reason she’s in the mood to mess with him some more. Probably has something to do with the way he’s visibly squirming - his karma, she thinks with a mental giggle. He’s the one always playing with her otherwise.

“It’s okay to be jealous, friend,” she tells him, lifting one hand to give him a pat on the back. “If I get closer with other people… that’s a natural thing, right? Besides -” She laughs as she bumps against him sideways, hopping the playfulness will at least bring a pleasant smile to his features. “I need to have girl friends, too!”

"What." Mina almost laughs, because the statement is so random. The two of them were just hanging out in between their group's rehearsals- it's one of those lucky times when their two groups have been invited to perform at the same event, and they were just making small talk while having (way too healthy) snacks, when he had uttered the words.

She reigns in the laughter though, because now she realises that this is what Mark had felt the last time when it had been her telling him something similar. Instead, she smiles and elbows her best friend's side. "Wow, I thought it wasn't in you to be sappy?" She comments, lightly teasing, but still clearly happy.

"Your? Huh, what - ?" Mina turns as her attention is is captured by the younger's voice. There's a tiny crowd gathered in the open area concert's backstage - most staff and other idol groups preparing for their turn to rehearse on stage. "Have I seen your -?" She's confused at the question, but TWICE's maknae seem to be distracted too, anyway. And so Mina's gaze follows hers, curious. Has Chaeyoung found the thing she was looking for, then?

"I, well - " Mina laughs, and she's unsure if it's because of Euijin's defensive tone, or if it's because of the expression on the younger's face. "I was just saying," she explains, clear amusement drawn on her features even as she tries to push back down any further laughter. Ever since becoming better acquainted, Euijin has been the one to tease her a lot - but it seems like she might finally have the chance to push their buttons some.

"Your glasses look just like Jaehyun's. I saw him at the agency the other day and he was wearing the exact same pair. So when I saw you I thought - do these two share a pair of glasses?! I've never really found out if Jaehyun wears prescription ones or if it's just for style - but you know that's cute, if you're going around 'borrowing' his pair - I do that too, sometimes, just not with eyeglasses of all things, that's kind of weird but - oh!" Her rambling gets cut off when she has another realistation. "Or is this a case of couple glasses?!"

The first thing Mina thinks is - 'It's 3AM?!' She really hadn't noticed the time going by. If anything, she should probably feel sleepy, and want nothing else but to crawl into the comforts of her own bed, but she's the opposite. She feels hyper and awake, and the food suggestion is has her perking up.

True, she's on a perpetual diet (like most female idols are), and she always tries not to eat after 6 in the evening unless there's a special occasion, but she tells herself that maybe this is a special moment. Yohan has been helping her with lyrics and music composition - lessons that management provides and sources out even after their idols have debuted.

Mostly, over the last couple of years, Mina has been focusing on acting lessons, but recently, she's picked up renewed vigor with regards to learning music composition and lyric writing. "Ssaem, are you sure?" She tries to confirm with the older male first, anyway. She had been deep into writing words and lyrics over the last few hours, and she still feels shy about showing them to her teacher. "I could use some caffeine and some snacks though, I guess."
