I'm kinda worried about the theory that John shot Mary...
Like if it's true then CAN YOU IMAGINE THE HATE. People are defending Mary; a literal assassin, killer for hire, best-friend-murderer (yes, she killed Sherlock), deceitful, manipulative, ruthless, conspiring VILLAIN. Yet they are demonising John at even the mere IDEA that he cheated - it's not confirmed, the whole episode feels off so don't take things at face value - even thought it goes COMPLETELY against his character. These people are looking for a reason to hate John to "destroy Johnlock" and put Mary on this untouchable pedestal for God knows what reason. Seriously I don't want to deal with that. Despite how talented Mofftiss clearly are in their writing, and how many times Amanda herself says it, there are people that CANNOT be convinced of Mary being evil.
