I had the best day today on mabinogi oh my god??
I met a giant and he was a chef too and we swapped recipes and he bought me some baking gear and it was??? really awesome first of all wow thank you stranger and secondly Umbruss's age is like 11 so he's REALLY TINY and he's dwarfed by this huge giant it was so cute omg chef buddies and i almost ranked up my cooking too!!
so after making brownies and cakes and mushroom recipes and several milk recipes we decided to go dungeoning and i went from boohoo woobie tier to hold-yer-own tier i was so proud of myself and umbruss it was great and he told me that his first language wasnt english (which i assumed from a few little mixups, but i didnt really care tbh) and he lived in Argentina and spoke spanish and was sort of a blacksheep because he doesnt like sports
and i was??? thinking of telling this poor fellow that im not actually a guy but that always go horribly wrong with anybody but cmon i want to PLAY the game and earn gifts from being rad and nice and not being?? a girl?? and meeting this awesome person right after someone claimed me as their personal chef (are chefs really THAT uncommon...? I mean I cook for my guild and for friends... and maybe for money but) was really too good to be true. maybe i'll tell him later?
idk mabinogi is just really nice and relaxing and i sort of like it more than tumblr because i can use whatever god dang emoticon i want and nobody gets angry at all i can say that i want to go pick mushrooms in dugald isle or go fishing in iria and theyre like awesome man have a nice day i can trust random strangers with my items too like god i love mabinogi not only is it my childhood but its a really nice place to escape
and??? i think i'll play mabinogi every second day since i joined my brother's friend's guild, Defiant, and I gotta be active.
But the real question is... do I max cooking and combat, and finish the G's, or should I max cooking and mending, and buff my homestead?
or... should I get my own horse, and my own pets, and leave the past where it is and move on from Shadecall...? I mean, Umbrus/Umbruss really lives on in her stead, and since im a sucker for character creation I think I've decided to dub him Shadecall's son, since Shadecall's brother was Redsky and had red hair, and... well, the genes match up!
Im seriously considering getting some NX and investing in a Shire and some other pet. Maybe a Kingfisher/songbird/bird of some kind or a cow?
