January 2, 2021 | Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
I visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is very beautiful and green (even in January, which is remarkable to me, but then again it is a rainforest and the temperature is mild). Upon entering the park, there are displays that highlight the bridge’s history. On one the last few displays is written that “Mac MacEachran was a local forest ranger. He had been a Captain in the Royal Flying Corps, based in Egypt, where he flew observation planes for the Army.”
More history of the bridge can be found here: https://www.capbridge.com/our-story/history/.
