alr now you being powerful is certainly the most obvious reason he wanted you to join. we all know that man’s insatiable hunger for it. which is lowk not talked abt enough bc he’s so low key w it. but hey moving on 🤣 whatever your power is whether it’s raw strength, powerful cat like abilities or something that has nothing to do with you being a cat at all, it sure caught his attention and made a whopping first impression 😼 cheetu=fraud reader=goat 🐐💪 however whatever the circumstances may be, it was enough to make him offer you a position instead of stealing the ability entirely. maybe it’s not even a nen ability, or that both your nen and cat abilities are separate so to lose one would half said power. bonus if they go hand in hand. although ultimately, something convinced him not to hit a snatch n run, and to just recruit you. 🤷‍♀️😂 so! new silly cat friend, acquired ☺️

now the troupe isn’t always assembled, and as we know when they do it’s before a mission, thus, the first impression they have of you outside of your first encounter and joining is you in combat. and boy is that something! since the first time he saw you fight he’s been itching to see you do it again! not really, but he was interested enough to watch you since you just so happened to be in his group for this heist. his inquisitive way of thinking just won’t let him go without understanding your capabilities/nen ability. he absolutely LOVES fascinating things. well, that’s not really the right word, he’s fascinated by fascinating things, but that just sounds stupid now doesn’t it. well anyway, (😂) its confirmed to him that his instincts were on point with recruiting you when he sees how you fight and that it was definitely the right choice! having another high level threat member on the troupe is never a bad idea :D not when people send literal entire mafia’s to kill you. or at least try 😭

now you being naturally half cat is another thing that makes him curious about you. now you can come up with your first interaction, but if it was you being friendly/chilling and then fighting, or vice versa, i’d say that was all he needed to know to invite you to the gang. chrollo: “perfect give me 15 of them” (or however it goes LOL) i say he’d be interested in recruiting you if you’re calm (or at least reasonable) because then he can actually hold a conversation with you that will go somewhere as far as him getting the info he wants. aka what he needs to know to persuade you to join. or if he has to at all, like if you’re a happy go lucky cat and will just go “okay!” first impressions are everything after all, he wants to make his get on your positive side, as you certainly have. or at least his intrigued one! 🤣

after he sees you fight (or whenever you want this to happens lol, you choose) he’s very curious as to what you can do! even outside of fighting, as a cat, abilities you’ve trained, are you combat savy or rely on your nen? where, or rather whom did you learn nen from? did you take the hunter exam? or maybe you grew up on some uncharted island where everyone is half cat! perhaps? he’s truly and deeply theorizing about your identity. which leads me to my next point! why/how are you half cat? how did you come to be if you weren’t born that way? was it normal to you for everyone to be half cat, and then you came and discovered everyone else wasn’t? or were you raised by a human. and yes he does ask you all this. by the way you’re such a happy bean he feels it wouldn’t anger you, and he’s not forcing you to answer anyway! plus he’s your boss now, and there is no fighting amongst the troupe regardless, so there wouldn’t be much to do even if it did. 😆

always being cheerful doesn’t make or break anything with him really! his members have all different personalities, and if he didn’t think he could handle yours you wouldn’t be in the troupe! not to mention he could kick you out and take your ability if it really got on his nerves. (though he’d have to be calculated seeing as though you’re not going down without a well fought fight! 😃😁) but there’s no way it could 🤗 because your a lil sweetie pie <33 yep, as long as your personality doesn’t hinder your ability to kill or commit crimes…it’s whatever man! sooo..i no longer have anything to put for this section but, here! you cutie!: 🌸 for you :3

im not sure how chrollo would even come across discovering that you like pets and head scritches. he’s not the type to initiate that kind of thing, but if you kind of just instinctively lean your head towards him to pet him i’m sure he figure out “oh, that’s a natural response isn’t it? they still have instincts to be pet?” but wouldn’t bring his hand up to pat you. now if you took his hand and kind of set it on top of your head he wouldn’t really stop you, just kind of find it almost? amusing? you’d have to make his hand do the movements to pet you but hopefully that’ll be satisfying enough? 😭🤣 he kind of just lets you do your thing, and watches. yes, watching as you make him pet you, hilarious 😂 he observes you melting, but doesn’t really find a need to note it or anything. he mostly has interest in your combat abilities. but he won’t take this away from you. 😭 (😂)

being powerful is something he definitely acknowledges about you when you make a first impression on him (intentional or not). he trusts chrollo’s judgement, and his own, as well as his own two eyes! he saw first hand how powerful you are and he’ll immediately want you in the troupe with those abilities! i say so, so confidently because he literally tried to recruit gon and killua, who were likely to be associated with “the chain user” (🤫) so he’d be just fine recruiting a strong stranger too. surely he will! he’d kinda find it funny/be confused on how a cat learned nen, but i guess you’re half human too 🤣🤣 you must have a whole kitty tribe then! (😭😂😂) ‘are you all this powerful? where do you rank among them? are you one of the strongest? if not even the lower end of the little kitty tribe is pretty strong huh?’ having cat like abilities that go with your nen or fighting style will make him believe you’re from some sort of cat island even further (don’t let him hear chrollo thinks the same or he’ll be convinced of it). hey, as a nen user you hear about a lot more unusual things than an average joe, a magic superpower to harness your aura exists, surely “cat island” does!

getting further into combat he’d love to spar with you! and test your real strength! especially since the troupe’s numbers isn’t ranked off their physical strength, as we can see with with uvogin at 11 😉 how does he know whoever you were fighting wasn’t just fodder? he’s gotta test it for himself! speaking of uvo you can’t convince me he wouldn’t want to join. which is an alternative route i can see, them NOT underestimating you whatsoever in fact wanting to fight you 2v1 😼💪 which i’m sure they quickly figure out you’re so strong you could join them and become a little mayhem murder trio if you wanted to :) they could call you “triple trouble time” LOL that’s so ridiculous but i love it (pls do join them, DO IT FOR THE NICKNAME!! >O<) or you could very well be a lone cat! you do your job so well you’re entrusted with killing most the guys in the way while they complete the mission! :D (hey, they said WHILE they complete the mission! save some fun for them! >:T)

now as a cat you’re probably really fast, just naturally. so while you’re still mid fight he likely doesn’t see your ear or tail deliberately until you pause. and then when he gets a clear view he goes ‘a cat person?’ LOL nooo, not the “crazy4cats” type, the “i AM the cat >:)” type 😜😂 first of all, he wonders what someone did to provoke a literal cat—touch your tail or something? (yes at first he thinks you have cat brain and not so much human, only being one—or rather half—physically. little does bro know..you DO have cat brain, you just have to be kind enough to unlock it 🤣🤣) until he closer observes the fight to see you have some serious battle IQ. now, in anime logic you don’t have to be book smart to be street smart, which i don’t know how true that is irl seeing as though i’m not a killer thief OR nen user- (HAHAH) but!! back to what i was saying it- could be that you’re just a cat that knows how to fight (like they all do 😂). upon the fight ending, he watches your body language and the way you seem to make decisions/think and realizes how humanoid you do so. congrats, you’re now officially, human cat.💥🎉 (yeah sure what an upgrade 😭 guess it’s not like it’s not true)

now that he’s finished analyzing you, we must address the question that he’s been wondering about since he saw you land that finisher on your opponent—what else can you do? and how does your powers work?? is that kind of nen only accessible to cat people or something?? your nen capacity is crazy! or maybe it’s just because bigger cats are naturally stronger, so you are? is there even a method behind this madness?? orrr…are you just going to meow in response? (dw yes that was sarcasm 🤣) can you speak animal though? like can you talk to other full cats? or does your people speak the hunter hunter language? how far back does your race go?? have you been around longer than humans?? matter of fact, how old are you? MATTER OF FACT—DO YOU HAVE 9 LIVES???

now for the questions that have been ACTUALLY bogging his mind the whole time—why, and HOW are you half cat? how did you come to be and is there more of you? do you even know if there’s more of you? could you have been born apart? have you ever tried looking for other cat people? wait!! is there dog people to?! and are they your mortal enemies?! no- i get it now!! the dog people, your arch nemesis’s amongst generations, slayed your entire tribe one night with a sneak attack! and now you’re out to avenge them by taking out all the dog people! so did that guy you were fighting have a dog tail and ears?? you know it’s funny that this happened to you since he quite literally put someone else in that exact same predicament..🤔 (nobu you’re starting to sound like PHINKS with that dumb ahh theory 😭😭 it’s giving when phinks got punched for telling kurapika he hurt gon and killua when his BOSS was hostage and he had to call back and say “sorry i was lying” 🗿 like that’s the goofiness this gives 😭)

always being cheerful isn’t too surprising. cats are either happy lovey baby or the bully that lives in your house. you, my friend, are both! :) and by that i mean you’re seen as the bully from your enemies/opponents pov by they way you just do NOT give them no chance to stand up, fight back or even BREATHE- (bro is pitou’s long lost cousin 🤣🤣🤣 wait this joke is actually so hilarious because of how perfectly it fits) and to your people/the troupe you’re ofc the happy lovey baby 🥰😊 nobu is pretty much cool with it, it seems harder to anger him if you have a happier personality imo bc we mostly see him get triggered by more teasing personalities. 😂😂 + the fact that you’re happy go lucky persona doesn’t wave out your ability to fight is really good. that way you’re logical/easy to work with and also very powerful, capable and reliable for missions and combat! those attributes are truly valuable within the troupe bc there are a handful of members that are most certainly meatheads 🤦 (he’s kinda one of em..)

wanting pets and head scritches makes sense to him because you’re a cat buuuut he’s not reallyyyyyyy, asaaaaaaa…affectionate! (is the word he’s looking for) type of guy. soooo you leaning in to him…asking for pets. it’s kinda. i mean you’re still half human yk? is that not? that doesn’t matter when you want pets or something?? 😭 (🗿) looks like you DO, have…cat brain. 😀 just..not in the way he expected??? i genuinely don’t know how you would manage to convince nobu to pet you, if you even can/do/try, BUT!! if you do—and you melt, he’ll just kinda 🤷‍♀️ let you lay in his lap and chill there for a little while :) have fun purring with your scritchies 🥰☺️ oh, well now i kinda wanna talk about that! :D briefly anyway—if you start purring! it’ll kinda shock and confuse him at first, he really can’t grasp how much of you is human and how much is, cat. you being powerful and having chrollo’s approval? that’s all he needs to be okay with you really. as far as joining i mean. he’s pretty opinionated, but won’t go against his loyalty for chrollo regardless. chrollo trusts you? so does he. to be fair i don’t think he could be scared of anyone let alone a cat person. keepin it honest 🤷‍♀️ he wouldn’t underestimate you though. he seen first hand what you can do and you’re clearly the real deal. that’s a pretty lucky first impression for the troupe and especially feitan. he’s not so quick to think of people as more than a nobody/in his way if not a troupe member already. but you’re so strong you (probably unintentionally) proved yourself strong enough to get in!! now that’s a feat!! bonus if you’re not from meteor. it seems like most are and if not than a rugged background. if you truly do live on cat island i would be surprised if you didn’t train martial arts or something.

elaborating on combat, he’s been shown, and basically all the other members, to take an interest in what other people’s abilities are and how they work. more specifically with others in the troupe, but anything that stands out is fun (to fight/watch). and if it proves useful and not just brutally powerful? 😉👌 complex but simple or straight up complex (with powerful reasoning) one’s are the most interesting to him. and if you have one like that he’d enjoy watching you fight. if it causes your opponent lots of pain and suffering too? now this is just a masterpiece. 😌 keep terrorizing people lil kitty ☺️ you’re doing a great job 👏 (even if it’s just your abilities/strength as a cat 😄) cat abilities that work in tandem with your nen is something he would view as lucky. not because he wasn’t to be a cat (🗿) but because it would have to be slightly specific in order for that to work out. like if you’re a manipulator and your ability works well with xyz cat ability, it’s pretty lucky you were born a manipulator wasn’t it? with how powerful you are, and nen/abilities that is likely very versatile, he’d be confused if you aren’t a specialist.

being half cat is the strangest part to him. are you a chimera ant? that question will certainly pop up during that arc- 😂 you might even have to prove it somehow just to make sure you’re loyal. they don’t really mess with them like that after they invaded their home tryna take over 😶 next he would simply wonder/question why you have them, ears and tail i mean. like yeah you’re half cat but?? how? and why? what do you’re parents look like then? do they look more cat then you do 🤨 what’s going on here? and why? before that though on his mind is what abilities you have that may be useful to the troupe—as far as outside of combat. like can you remember scents? do you have that insane flexibility? perhaps it could allow for stealth! should need be anyway :) it’s always more fun and easier to bust in the front door and kill everybody 😏 still! 🤷‍♀️ …hey! maybe you can track down the chain user! you should be able to smell him on one of your fellow members, follow his scent and use that elastic like talent of yours to not get caught! alright! report back when you’ve eyes on the target! 🫡😼👋

so yeah he’s pretty interested in what can you can do. he’ll even ask shal “what else can cats do?” just to ask you and see if you can do it. and if you don’t know why not run an experiment to see if you can? seeing as though reader is cheerful i’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be against it. and he knows he can’t and isn’t out of his mind to the point where he would torture other members, so it’d be a genuine assessment out of curiosity! what’s your max jump height? what about speed? can you eat certain foods raw? (etc :3) this is more likely to happen outside of when everyone is called to meet up, because those are for missions—not cat testing 😭😂 he’s interested in your background, but won’t push or really try the matter. if he finds out he just does, if not, alr. sure it shapes your character, and might explain some things, but it’s not that deep to him. he’s more interested in what’s the thickest metal/object you can slice through if you have (possibly retractable) cat claws. (or nails)

why/how are you half cat/how you came to be/is there more of you, and do you even know if there are any, are all questions that come up. whether he asks them or not is give or take. he may ask some and not others. after a minute of you being in the troupe he’s more likely to ask when it’s relevant in the moment. but at this point his curiosity has been satiated. especially with all those experiments he ran LOL 😂 he pretty much/probably got most the answers he wanted to know more than others purely from that! which gives me an idea for the pets n scritches section, but i’m saving that! no spoilers!! >:3

being cheerful isn’t something he cares about so dang it feitan how am i gonna write this? you’re gonna be the only one with this tiny little section and all the feitan stan’s are gonna be mad INCLUDING ME because you had to get skimped on just because you wanna be NONCHALANT FINAL BOSS 🙄😒😤✋ well, let me actually try..as i said it wouldn’t much matter. he knows you’re strong and you’re more than capable of completing at least combat based missions, just don’t let your bubbly personality get in the way or ruin them. one thing i think is that he wouldn’t be able to tolerate a happy go lucky AND airheaded reader. like shizuku isn’t really an airhead she just has bad memory, but her calm personality balances her character out. whereas happy go lucky + stupid is the typical annoying cheery anime girl that literally no one likes. although i’m sure that’s not you. and if it is..we’ll you’re already in the troupe, and for a powerful ability i think they could tolerate you as long as you only do your job and leave 😁😭 so yeah just don’t screw up you’re missions and personality doesn’t really matter to him. yippie it didn’t turn out super ultra short!! party with meeee ^^ (🪩👯‍♀️👯🪅🎉)

alrrr now for the pets/head scritches that we’ve both been waiting for!! at first i thought this section wasn’t gonna be as interesting with fei bc i thought i was just gonna write abt how he absolutely would not want to give you any kind of pets or scratchies 😔 but now i get to write about the only exception and further explanation of why you may have done the experiments!!! 😆 spoiler: it’s for headpats!! yes he does give you a few for a few seconds after you finish an experiment >:} it’s a win win! don’t even get me started if you have a more cat like brain, or simply accept scritchies as a form of payment 😂😂 (at least from the troupe anyway. i could totally see feitan being the one to have discovered this too 😂😭) but if you don’t go along with the experiments yes back to the original concept you’re not getting nothing. he’s not an affectionate guy and he sees no reason to be. plus you’re still half human so that makes it even weirder. not that he cares much about weirdness, but he’d muuuch rather be making someone scream in agony than purr in pure bliss..🤨🗿

going back to the test run scenario for the hcs of you melting, he probably won’t find out you even melt until i don’t even know if he will. simply because he never gives you any pets long enough for you to get comfortable. he stands there and you stand there, he rubs your head for a few secs, and then he goes and reads his book. he’s not giving more than required in order for you to do the trials 😂 but rolling with a scene that he does discover you melt……..he’d still take his hand away a few seconds later. (big shock there 😳) he doesn’t have that human urge to pet things as most do. we all know what he has, and its no where near pleasant like scratchies… so that’s probably for the best! not that he’d do anything anyway, but still :P he notices that you melted, but that’s not an unintentional test result he cares about or will ever use 🤷‍♀️ (oh yeah party time 👯‍♀️👯) (why?? because it’s always party time..)

being powerful isn’t too surprising to machi, what does surprise her however is not only her bosses interest in you but also the fact that she has a hunch that there’s more to you than meets the eye/this is a good idea. (aka troupe upscale 😈🍷) i say chrollo’s interest in you surprises her because she was one of the ones to vote gon and killua not to say i’m pretty sure. and he doesn’t want to take your ability, he wants you to join. i don’t think we know their recruiting process exactly, but i doubt chrollo is going around handing out the opportunity himself. or even the other members, so the fact that he saw you, most likely fighting, once and said “yep i want this one” is darn impressive. whatever you do, whether you dabble with weapons, nen, martial arts or cat powers (LOL) you’re apparently pretty good with it! and that’s an extremely understated understatement :)

i think i mentioned this, again all of the troupe members aspear quite curious as to what others (specifically strong people with unique powers) nen is and how it works. so while machi sees you fight for the first time, first impression, after you’re recruited, etc, she’s pretty stunned! and trust it takes a lot to get her that way. she’s highly intelligent, and skilled. she’s the only reason we know how hisoka beat redestro! (or whatever his name was, the tiger guy from heavens arena) it was from her break down that we even got what happened ourselves, and it’s well known how skilled hisoka is. thus the fact that she’s baffled by your combat style is baffling in itself! bonus if you have multiple, like cat abilities and a weapon. or cat abilities a weapon and nen! ouu what a deadly combo 😯 go kitty go!! if there’s something she doesn’t understand about your nen (especially if you use an ability you have since you’re a cat and she mistakes it for nen/is confused because of how well you blend it together) or general fighting style she’ll ask you afterwards. in this case more so if you’ve already joined the troupe. otherwise she’ll just be hoping you aren’t an enemy they’ll have to deal with later on this heist.

half cat reader quite confused her and yet she’s also interested. lets assume you’re in the troupe by now, there’s no way she’s going long without questioning you about your ears and tail. ohhh imagine if reader could hide their ears and tail too!! then you just happen to have them out at the next meet up for a mission 🤣🤣 girl is going to be PUZZLED 😂 n that’s valid cuz wym you just have cat ears all the sudden?? n a tail??? are you trying to be funny?? 🤣🤣🤣 what’s going on here!! LOL 😂 but for the original concept of her already knowing she’d still be curious. i stick with the thought of her being less likely to ask if you’re not very close, or if she doesn’t trust you. but as a cheerful kitty type of peep she can clearly see what she’s sees is what she gets! :D so that’s off the table :) which means if the two of you talk her questions about you will surely roll around to getting asked at some point. it’s too confusing not to honestly. to be fair, the troupe wasn’t all that confused when they same the chimera ants, more so because they knew what they were. but they don’t know anything about you! there’s never been any history of cat people! where’d you come from?!

so her curiosity as to what you can do is like all the other troupe members really! except she’s more normal about it and doesn’t run experiments..ahem, feitan ☺️ general she just asks, and if you don’t have the answer; that’s that! should she ask if you’re searching for any answers you don’t know about your self/kind—if you’re the only one, how much of you is cat, etc—and you say no it’s be bemusing to her. it partially makes sense, sometimes happy go lucky people don’t care so much about things that don’t affect their lives. gons’ clearly not one—searching after his dauntless father just for the love of them game 😂(😭) but the fact that you’re just a casual phenomenon if not to everyone then to everyone who doesn’t know about your kind. which is still likely to be everyone. 🤷‍♀️😂

she doesn’t theorize much after she’s done with her own mini interrogation and questions, so i don’t know how or what i’m gonna write for their bulletin as far as why/how you are half cat/how you came to be/is there more of you and do you know. because i talked about a bit already in the previous one anyway. but i am interested in writing about how she feels about you’re cat personality and sunniness in general 🤗☀️ so let’s do that!! :) it’ll make her hcs unique ✨ w for machi stans!! machi with a joyous personality reader, let alone a joyous half cat reader is kind of an oxymoron considering her own personality. she’s not overly cruel or sadistic, but she doesn’t share your trusts either! i think you two would be the stars and sun duo! i say stars because she’s not exactly shy or introvert. but still quiet unless something needs to be said. she has no problem with your personality really, you don’t cause problems/arguments and your very (clearly) reliable in combat! so that just sounds like another troupe member that isn’t lowk a destructive or tempered hassle! which is great!….she could use a few more of those 🤦‍♀️

The Phantom Troupe members if they had a Celebrity Crush — Part 1 (Chrollo, Machi and Feitan)

(CC = Celebrity Crush — VA = Voice actor/actress)

Chrollo: 

Surprisingly, he's got a little fanboy side.

His celebrity crush would be any or all of these: a VA, an actor/actress, a soloist, or a lead singer in an idol group/band.

Whenever he has the time, he checks on his favorite celebrities' releases/ activities on SNS and YouTube.

Goes out alone on weekends and nights that aren't very busy so that he can watch his CC's movies. He books himself screening rooms at cinemas and watches all by himself —his favorite snacks at hand. He just watches, relaxed, quiet, and in awe. Has moments when he'll sob or cackle because of some scenes.

Has also booked screening rooms to watch animes and music videos lmao.

If his CC models/shoots ads, he goes downtown in the evening/night, sits on benches, and stares at their posters, billboards, ads, etc. All the while he's sipping on a beer or eating ice cream. Sometimes he just stands there, lost in thoughts, with his celebrity crush's face as some kind of comfort and backdrop. He'd be wondering about a bunch of things.

If CC is a singer, he always perks up when their song starts playing in a restaurant, bar, mall, or wherever. Even on missions. He'd sometimes hume or whistle to the melody, gaining amused and surprised stares from the other spiders, but they wouldn't overthink it. He's very lowkey.

Doesn't buy merch, but he definitely tries to attend concerts and meet&greets when his schedule permits. If CC performs at an event near one of the PT's gigs/destination, he will watch or listen from the sidelines. Maybe even from the top of a nearby building to get a view of the stage.

CC's songs definitely played while he was murdering someone or causing mass destruction. He most likely had to kill/abduct people outside concert halls too.

I feel like he'd gravitate toward someone who's the complete opposite of how he presents himself. Someone who's upbeat, confident, bubbly and extroverted.

Listening to their voice or watching their shows would be a serotonin boost to him.

If they're a VA, all of his favorite characters are definitely voiced by the celebrity crush—no matter their relevance or how big or small the role is.

In the case where he's really attached to said celebrity, he might sometimes get all up in his feelings and wish he was an average folk so he could fanboy in peace and write fanfics.

What hooks him is a mixture of talent, aura, vibes, and looks—that person. So I doubt he'd accept to date or start to court someone simply because they look or sound like his CC. They're irreplaceable, one and only. No one else is like his CC.

If any harm had to befall them, he'd get pissed—the silent type of pissed. You know what comes after…

Very loyal, tbh. If he starts liking a celebrity very hard, he'll most likely continue to do so for years. Until said celeb does something that turns him off or dies.

Even if the celeb is a sworn enemy, he'd still listen to their songs and watch their works just because 💀 he's weird like that.

Machi: General Dating Headcanons

Okay, to start, we know Machi isn't exactly the very 'loving' type. she's more standoffish and only puts in her two cents when she deems it necessary

However, I like to think she's very loving towards you behind closed doors. Her favorite way of expressing her affection is leaving behind little wrapped up figurines of her own thread. Similar to the GIF above, she'll twist and knot her nen stitches together into anything she thinks you're interested in. Bears, cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.

She enjoys watching you sleep as well. This is the one time in which she'll let down her walls for a few minutes. She'll pull you into her chest and take in your scent while kissing the top of your head a few times, concentrating on the beating from your heart and swearing she won't let anything happen to you.

Also, don't be surprised if you're around the troupe and you notice Machi staring at you. She refuses to partake in any sort of PDA so 98% of the time, she's giving her classic glare at you. Don't take offense, it's not with malicious intent, she's just admiring you with a stone cold face.

On that same affectionate note, she isn't a large fan of cuddling, but LOVES when you run your hands through her hair or putting your chin on her shoulder, perhaps even both at the same time.

As for how you two got together, as cliché as this sounds, I'm going to have to say Pakunoda was a key factor. Pakunoda was probably the one to even notice Machi had liked you to begin with, and spent a good amount of their time together trying to get Machi to come to terms with it. Once she does come to terms with it however, I see it as Machi wanting to confess to you but she thinks you might believe she has feelings for Paku because that's what everyone assumes. She confides in Pakunoda with her troubles because they're close, who then later relays this information to you since she can't stand seeing Machi so off balance.

She's super embarrassed when you come up to her and ask about Paku's claim, so much to the point she blatantly denies it. Paku saves the day yet again by telling Machi the cat's outta the bag and then BOOM. After a bit of conversing between you two, you decide to give it a shot so cupid struck his bow.

Nicknames are a weird topic. She doesn't give you any. It's always just y/n. No abbreviation or anything. There is an exception to this which is my next bullet point. You can give her nicknames, but know that if you use any of them in front of the troupe or a client or whatnot, she will ignore your call.

As for jealousy, she isn't a very jealous person. She isn't insecure within herself and she's 100% knowing that you love her with all of your being. HOWEVER, if she notices someone outside of the troupe being a little too nice with you, she'll come up to you and said person and say something along the lines of "Babe, who's your friend?" or "Baby, are you ready to head home?"

Since the troupe does leave for long periods of time, she'll leave behind her signature pin cushion for you in which she stitches a little something every time. (she has extra pin cushions to take with her, dw) It's usually a small note like, "always thinking of you." "stay safe y/n, be home soon."

To sum up, Machi loves you dearly, even if she won't blatantly say it to you often. However, never for one moment doubt her love for you. She may be a bit stoic and seemingly scary, but she'd burn down the whole world if it guaranteed your happiness.

Matt is a werewolf. He still has wolf ears, a tail, sharp teeth, and claws in his human form. He is also pretty hairy but doesn’t bother to shave. I don’t really know what color his fur should be. On one hand, you have his canon hair color which is brown and on the other you have his fanon hair color which is red. But I have a compromise. If you prefer his fanon hair color his fur color is brownish red. And if you prefer his canon hair color then his fur color is the same as his hair color.

Mello is half lizard (I took inspiration from the Argentine black and white tegu). He has dark gray scales on his back, sides, forearms, hands, lower legs, and feet. The scales on his arms and legs are mostly black with little white speckles. The scales on his back are black and white stripes that are horizontal with the black stripes a little thicker than the white ones. The scales on his sides are mostly white with random blotches of black. His scales fade into skin where the two meet. The sclera of his eyes are bright yellow and his pupils are black slits. He has a pink forked tongue that flicks in and out. His tail is long and ends in a sharp point. It can also fall off and regenerate like a tegu’s tail. He hasn’t dropped his tail but if he did it would be visibly obvious. A dropped tail doesn’t have the same scale pattern as the rest of the scales and the tip is rounded.

Feitan is a mix between a ghoul and vampire. He’s sickly pale, has bright red eyes, sharp fangs, and wings that resemble bat wings. Normally when vampire ghoul Feitan goes out he has his umbrella protect him from the sun. Other than a pair of gloves, he wears basically the same thing as his canon self.

Phinks is a demon and looks like the common depiction of satan. Red skin, black hair, horns, bat wings, pointed ears, and a tail with a puff of black fur at the end.

Machi is a drider (I took inspiration from the Arizona Blonde Tarantula). Her spider body is hairy like a tarantula’s. Most of her spider body is the same color as her hair but it fades to black on the first segment of each leg, the first segment of her mandibles, her toes, and butt. She can inject venom and kick urticating hairs (urticating hairs is a defense mechanism new world tarantulas use. They kick the hairs on their butt off and those hairs irritate whatever it lands on) but she prefers attacking via her threads. She only kicks hairs and injects venom as a last resort. She’s not actually as big as you’d expect a drider to be. She’s only two inches (5 cm) taller than her canon height.

Uvo is an orc. Large bottom tusks, underbite, and pointed ears. He also dresses like your typical orc. A loin cloth made out of animal hide and spiked armor on both shoulders, forearms, and lower legs. He also has silver piercings. Two on his right ear, a septum piercing, and two on his left eyebrow. He doesn’t carry a weapon though. Why should he when he can squish anyone like an ant with his bare hands?
