the machine by lemon demon is genuinely the most objectum coded song I have heard in my LIFE. like what the hell do you mean this guy is so obsessed with his machine that he remains inside of it tinkering away forever. what do you mean “all he knows is that it needs him, all he knows is he needs it.” WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!!!!! THATS SO GAY
When I fall in love with so many machines... then read Reddit get mad at a guy with about 15 of them or so, maybe he's not objectum but who knows... they are "wasteful" and "nobody needs..." yet "trash"? But "taking from others". Anyway, each of my machines teaches me stuff and I like being around. I love getting more broken or dinged up ones to repair or keep safe until I do. Why garbage when I can have them? Sigh, I spend money to love them... I buy the unloved ones on ebay.
Not sure what to call this, though if people considers a collection of someone's to be "wasteful and trash", they are definitely rude.
Usually collections have meaning, I collect rocks because I find them beautiful, my pawpaw collects hotwheels because they were his favorite toy as a kid, I have friends with plushie collections because they like plushies. So the "trash" comments don't just harm objectum folk who collect beloveds, but people who may just have hobbies or want to remember things close to them.
And I think it's great you're giving unloved machines a home, that's very beautiful.
does it count as objectum if they aren't personified to me and i'm just really into the way machines move?
Yes, objects don’t have to be personified for attraction to be objectum.
Not enough nsft/nsfw Objectum out there
parking meters are capsule machines if they were cops imo
i have the FATTEST crush on this thing. like cmon.
imagine sitting on top of one of it's bars, high up, surrounded by rusty, beautiful metal, kicking your feet back and fourth and tracing circles on it beside you...spending all day talking to them about your troubles and your interests and they listen to every little word, and you can feel it creak beneath you when you plant a little kiss on it... <3333 and when its finally dark out and you have to return home, it tilts itself downwards so you can get off easily and safely 🤍🤍 I LOVE THIS THING SO MUCH its so beautiful
