Around every Halloween, the micronations all huddle around a central theme, debated about for months in advance but in the end, it's always chosen by Sealand. Everyone goes along with it even if there are a few complaints. They all have fun eventually.

In 2010, they were toys.

--On a side note, I haven't discussed this with my micromuns, but here are some ideas I had for previous/later years. Feel free to share as well!

Peter Pan Theme:

Peter: Sealand (duh, Peter)

Wendy: Wy (duh)

Everyone else: Lost boys

Hook: England (I AM LIKE 10 SURE PETER PESTERED HIM TO)

A Micronation's Guide to Micronations

A micronation (my-CROW-NEIGH-shin) is a place that has declared independence from a nation, but its sovereignty is often questioned. Simply put, it shouldn't be.

Here are some tips to keep in mind.

1. Demonyms. Repeat after me: there is no such thing as a micronation with the demonym of a nation. There are no Australian micronations, but there are plenty of Micronations in Australia. There's a difference. If we were Australian or Swedish or English or American or Austrian or what-have-you, then we wouldn't have declared independence in the first place.

By this token, you should use our own demonyms. Example: Viktor Oxenstierna is Ladonian, Benny Parker is Molossian.

2. Relationship with Sovereigns. Sometimes it's supportive, but most of the time it's not. Be careful and polite when referring to sovereigns or foreign enemies.

For some purposes we will sometimes refer ourselves to a collective demonym. Example: Riley Kirkland is Oceanic.

3. Art. It is more important than the air we breathe, the food we eat, the slumber we sleep. But we have a lot of of other quirks too, do not forget! Some of us like the internet, others like gardening, some baking...I could go on, but that wouldn't be any fun. Please respect them. 

4. Brief research of our etiquette is recommended. (Hint: do not greet Hutt River the same way you would Kugelmugel).

5. Also, respect all claims aforementioned on our websites and documents.

DID I TELL YOU GUYS THAT I HAD A DREAM THAT LIKE

Austria, America, Australia, England, Japan, Sweden, were all in some sort of contest

and instead of cheering them on the micros were like

"no the person I seceded from is gonna lose worse"

"are you kidding mine's so old he'll break his back"

"U WANNA GO?? MINE WILL LOSE SO BADLY I'LL GET TO TAKE OVER HIM"
