A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 72
I just decided that episode title cards are kinda boring so from now on, I’m gonna do it this way:
MY 7 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 72 (manga chaps 125 and 126...or rather, 126 and 125...no idea why they switched it since the other way would’ve made more sense):
1) Sadaharu looked badass AF.
2) The aftermath of their swans colliding and sinking...Madao’s awkwardly placed puddle was courtesy of the anime team.
3) That video store had way too many posters of Pedro to be appropriate.
4) I usually don’t like seeing Zura get hurt, except when Gin-chan is the one doing the hurting...then it’s cute and hilarious.
5) Zura obviously suffering from brain damage from being run over so many times by Gintoki.
6) The last time...although that’s probably what unscrambled Zura’s brains cuz that’s how things usually work.
7) Best ID ever.
SHIPS TALLY:
Gintoki x Zura: they ride together cuz they love each other cuz they go wayyy back.
Sadaharu x Meru: it was sweet while it lasted
Hasegawa x Ana: I was sincerely impressed that Hasegawa got that far with Ketsuno Ana. He definitely had more game than Gin-chan.
Gintoki x Ana: Gintoki really needs to work on his pick-up lines.
Gintoki x Katsuo: there was a lot of physical contact for a prolonged period of time.
Madao x Meru: at least Meru-chan won’t get pregnant this time, and honestly, she’s better off with robodog. I don’t think she would’ve survived her carnal relations with Sadaharu.
Madao x Random Cute Bitch: he actually finished in her, which was really awkward and gross to see, and what did he ejaculate? Oil? Gods I wish I didn’t think about that.
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just completely unbelievably amazing. It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s immense generosity that I am able enjoy Gintama on an extra another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.
