I also figured out that the controller vibrates when the other player starts moving, queuing you to hit the trigger, which is good, because the ball on that screen is TEENY TINY!!!!

That’s not the impressive thing though.

The impressive thing is that, like in real football, your opponent can fake you out and try to get you to move early. Doing so MAKES YOUR CONTROLLER VIBRATE, TRIGGERING YOUR CONDITIONED REACTION TO PULL THE RIGHT TRIGGER. It’s LITERALLY faking you out, simulating that exact same mind game they play on the field. After getting over how much of a dick move that was, I couldn’t help but be impressed.
