The Cal team of Farida Osman, Amy Bilquist, Maddie Murphy, and Abbey Weitzeil set a new NCAA record in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:25.59 at the 2017 NCAA Championships. Osman, an Egyptian swimmer, split an incredible sub-21 split (20.91) in the anchor leg.
