Disclaimer: My skin is far from perfect. Ever since I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2018, it triggered my face to become sensitive and acne prone. I easily get tiny bumps whenever I eat too much dairy and sweets. #sadlife
I’ve tried many skincare products from highend, drugstore, local and even home organic remedies. Nothing worked. It was around March of 2019 when I first used these combo. The effect was obviously not overnight but I definitely saw good progress after the first few days of using it.
✨ Astop toner ✨ I love it’s spray type noozle as I no longer need to use any cotton pads. I also like that it won’t spill even when you tilt it as it is specifically designed for 360 degrees angle. It is very mild on my sensitive skin. No sting effect as it is alcohol free too. It containes AHA and Vitamin C that I believe really helped fade my dark spots. I use it day and night. I am guilty on sometimes spraying too much but my face can easily absorb it. I noticed how (the combo) can also help in drying out any active zit.
✨ Madeca Derma cream ✨ My ultimate all in one cream! I use it as my eye cream, moisturizer, spot treatment and even makeup base every morning. This product is very moisturizing. It has a thick formula that some might not really appreciate. Still I love how it can instantly make my skin look plump and hydrated. I personally believe that some might really find this heavy on the face but for me it is just fine. It’s famous for it’s Centella Asiatica ingredient that is proven to sooth and heal scars, eczema, and wounds faster. (Hence na okay na okay din siya for acne) During night time I love to massage it all over my face first on an upward motion. Then I add another thicker layer specifically as a spot treatment for any active zit or bumps.
Hormonal acne is the worst but these two really helped me to cure the worst breakout of my life. Less is more. I’m good with this combo! 😉 .
