THE BAFFLING @g39

I was invited to perform in Gallery g39 as part of THE BAFFLING (made in roath festival) in Niamh O’Donnell and Tayla-Leigh Payne’s new electroacoustic piece for electronics + 4 voices, DADL GWYLEDIYDDOL, curated by Benjamin Owen.

The piece featured drones and fragmented voices projected over speakers whilst four voices spoke in English, Cymraeg, Francais and Deutsch - it was so much fun to perform this piece, finding ways to create musical lines with percussive speech and reacting to the incredibly detailed and dynamic drone that accompanied us.
