Above, I have linked to the original assignments as well as the updated assignments. Here we go! - Originally, Madeline Aaron and Max Settlage were scheduled for Skate America, but they have since split. (Bane of US pairs, i know.) They have been replaced by Haven Denney and Brandon Frazier, who won silver at a GP event a couple of years ago, so I am excited to see what they do. This competition is just stacked the whole way, so it will be very exciting. - Brittany Jones and Joshua Reagan were announced as the host pick of Skate Canada. Watch out for reigning two-time World Champs, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford. Other pairs to watch out for the other Canadian team, Lubov Iliushichinka and Dylan Moscovitch. Haven Denney and Brandon Frazier are here, as well as Yuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov from Russia, making their comeback very quickly after a bad injury to Kavaguti. There’s also the new Chinese pair of Yu Xiayou and Zhang Hao. - Four pairs to watch out fo at Rostelecom Cupr: Aliona Savchenko and Bruno Massot of Germany, Julianne Seguin and Charlie Bilodeau of Canada, Valentina Marchei and Ondrej Hotarek of Italy, and Alexa Scimeca and Chris Knierim of the US. - At Trophee de France watch out for Savchenko and Massot, Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres of France, and Castelli and Tran. - At Cup of China, it’s another stacked competition 6/8 pairs to watch out for, Very exciting. - At NHK, 5/7 of currently announced pairs to watch out for, so another very exciting competition.
