based off of this post about Madeline finding out about Dipper being Alcor
because I really wanted to write it
It was a rainy Friday the day it happened. Madeline had finally managed to convince her dad to let her walk home from school. It was only three blocks after all, and she was ten years old for Pete's sake! Dipper had gone on and on about cults in the area and a whole manner of supernatural things Maddy knew was just her dad being overprotective as always.
He told her to watch her surroundings, but she really hadn't been. Dipper would probably be angry about that later. Maddy didn't care, she was enjoying jumping in every puddle she crossed. Testing her bright pink rain boots' water resistance and giggling as some of the water splashed against her striped leggings, she never saw the man in a hoodie come out from an alley. A rag was cupped over her mouth before Maddy could even get out a scream.
Then she was gone.

Dipper was worried when Maddy wasn't home right after three, when school let out, but he refused to freak out. She was probably at a friend's house. Who was that girl she always talked about? Maritza, he thought it was. The girl she'd run into in the woods that one time.
Maritza was a nice girl. She was Henry so of course she was. Dipper took a deep breath, knowing Henry or any of his reincarnations would never hurt Mabel. He should calm down. Maddy would call him if something was wrong.
So he forced himself to relax, and answered a summons.

When Maddy woke up the first thing she thought was that kidnappers probably shouldn't keep their victims in the living room in broad daylight. She could see right out the front window to the street, and could easily inchworm her way to the front door. That is, if her hands and feet hadn't been tied together.
She didn't know why she wasn't more scared, but the feeling of being taken and tied up was almost... familiar? Maddy couldn't help but crack a slight grin. Then she frowned because that wasn't normal. She really shouldn't be smiling because they were probably going to kill her.
That was before she heard voices in the kitchen.
"I got a girl like you said." One voice said.
"School age?" Another, much deeper one returned.
"Yeah, she's in the living room."
There was a pause, and then a sigh. "With the window facing the street?"
"...Yeah?"
"You're a dumbass, Jim."
"Should I not have done that?"
"No."
They were both silent for a minute, with a slight ruffling noise in the background that sounded like paper being moved.
"Just curious," Jim broke the silence. "What do you do with these kids anyway?"
Dread settled in Maddy's stomach. She could probably guess the answer. It felt like an eternity before the man actually said anything. When he did it was with a dark chuckle that caused chills to race up her spine.
"Demons like sacrifices."
Maddy almost screamed. She felt sick to her stomach. All she wanted was her dad. She wished she hadn't walked home, and had listened to him. She curled up into a ball, or as much of a ball as she could manage, wishing her dad was there because he could do anything right? He was her dad, and dads can do anything.
She started crying. All Maddy wanted was her dad! She wanted her dad here. She wanted her dad now. She wanted to go home, and watch bad movies with him. And she really, really didn't want to die.
There was a popping noise and suddenly here dad was there. But he didn't look like her dad. He wasn't wearing a polo or khakis, but instead was in a suit with a top hat floating above his head. His normally warm brown eyes were gold, and the white parts were black. His ears were pointed, and his fingers clawed. Her dad was Alcor. Straight out her demonology textbook and standing in front of her.
Yet the worried look on his face was still so much her embarrassing, cheering too loudly dad, Maddy didn't really pay much mind to the changes. She cried out, scooting her way over when blue fire burned the ropes away. She catapulted herself into her dad's arms, crying harder than she ever had before.
"Maddy," Dipper sighed, hugging his daughter close. "Are you okay? What happened? W̧h̢o took you? Where are they?"
She opened her mouth to reply, but then she saw both men standing in the doorway, shocked. Maddy let out a startled noise, and Dipper turned around very quickly, still cradling her in his arms.
"L-Lord Alcor," Not Jim sputtered.
"You're the ones who took m̡y̸ Mi̧z͜ar?" Dipper asked.
"I-I didn't know." He said. "I wasn't the one who took her. If I had seen her Mark she would have been left--"
"If she wasn't mi̴ņe you would have taken her anyway." Blue flame shot up his arms, and the humanoid visage melted away to a black and gold brick pattern.
"T͏h̴e͡n ̕y͢ou͜ ͠ta̴ke ҉w̴hat i̷s m̰̲̲̪̓ͤ̊̇ͥi̵̳̥͔͎̜̾ǹ̳͕͔̞̻͞e̴̝̤̹̣̖̖̖͛ for̢ ̢t͏h̵e ͘s̡ame̕ p҉urpos̀e," There was deathly silence, and Maddy watched as a cruel and gruesome smile stretched its way across what was her father's face. "A̴̤̳̅̈͋̔n̴̩̝̈̇̆͌̃d̥͎̼͋̓̋͆͘ ̠̝͙̮͆ͧ͡y͈͈͍͚̿ͣ̃ͯ̉́̽ͅo̙̮̭̤̾̈́̾ͫ̀u̺͔̾ ͍̞̳̹̹͎ͭ̍t̪͉̮͚̄̃̑h͚̩͇̋̅̇̃̚͘o̦u̻͋͛ͦͧ̂͆ͦg̨̊͑̀ͣh̯͙̞̮t̙ͯ́̈͗ ͈̩̤I͍̻̰ͮͥ͊͐̈ ̬͔̫̣̜̉͋̚w͈͓̦͜o̳̼̺̤ͤ̿͆ͫu̒̒ͭ̈͏l͉͍̯̻̭̠d̨ͬ̉ͭ̈͑ͮn͗ͧ̏̊͋̄͑͏̯̦͈̥ͅ'̪̟̈̎͛̀ͪt̼̮̗͚̩̞̮́ ̺̞̜ͤ̔̒ͦͤ̉f͕̦͆͊ͮ͗̉̀í̪̗̲̬ṋ̪̼͙̿̒d̝͖̯̠͚̭͍ͭ̂͒̈̇̊ ͓̪̯̜̝͋̑ͤ͒ŏ̭̯͍̰̺̓͂̀̓̂͢ŭ̪̟̞͌͂͞t̴̟̠̟͉̘͙̫͌." Alcor set Maddy on the ground before advancing on the men.
"Kick their butts, Dad."

When all that was left was blood and carnage, Alcor--no, Dipper finally calmed down. He cleaned himself off, and took Maddy home. She didn't say a word the whole time. Dipper even made dinosaur chicken nuggets, but Maddy never said a thing. Dipper was stuck between worrying about how she'd take having a demon for a dad verses her mental health after all that. (Maddy's silence was more on the mental health side.)
All he knew was that he had a lot of explaining to do.
