(this is VERY BRIEF) The events of Silenced Symphonies take place as normal. Lee gains consciousness in the deep forests in solitude as a spirit with a small gap of time when he passed, but enough information beforehand to infer he was now a spirit. for a month or so, he navigates the woods he inhabits, deciding to stay near and around a treeline leading into a small, mostly secluded town. Every so often people would venture into the woods, and Lee would watch as they went about their business: whether its a lumber mill owner searching for new ground, or creative children playing pretend, Lee watched all the same. Sometime in the change from Autumn to Winter, a lumberjack named Douglas encroached on Lee's territory to cut trees. Lee did as he usually would, and stayed around to watch his endeavors. It was different this time, as Douglas could actually see him, though assumes Lee is a runaway kid, as opposed to a severely malnourished spirit. He invites Lee to stay with him, still believing him adolescent, and Lee accepts. Days pass without Douglas finding out, until he reads the weekly paper and discovers Lee’s true existence. Douglas, though initially unsettled with the newfound information, let Lee stay with him.
Lee navigates his new plane of existence, and accidentally phases into a blank-white void area. Though he initially believes himself alone, he finds Hamilton inside. Lee blames Hamilton for indirectly causing his and Seabury’s deaths, and between mourning his lover and projecting his hatred, antagonized him on the death of his son, as well as other things. After a while of this, he discovers this is not his dimension’s Alexander Hamilton (which makes him arguably a bit more bitter). Despite the less-than-desirable first impression, Lee and Alex become sort of “friends.” After talking with Hamilton for a while, Lee realizes there’s actually more than one entity he’s speaking with: Hamilton, and another known as Rapio. Rapio proposes a deal: Lee can see seabury any time he wants, if he harvests energy from the organisms around him for Rapio. Lee accepts, desperate to see his dearly departed once more. It starts small, with Lee harvesting and killing small animals, but eventually evolved into larger animals as Rapio’s demands steadily increased. Though Lee protested and eventually tried to call off the deal, Rapio made it exceedingly clear that was not an option, plaguing Lee with visions of his torture and making his experience a part of it again. Lee, with greying morals and lowering empathy, found refuge in the times he can summon Samuel. Lee, with his newfound trauma, started having more episodes. During one, Rapio essentially traded bodies with him, making Lee go through a torture session Rapio goes through daily. Rapio, via Lee’s body, terrorizes Samuel and makes him lose trust in Lee. Between Samuel inevitably discovered what was occurring to bring him to Lee and Rapio controlling Lee’s body, Samuel said he wasn’t to be summoned anymore, much to Lee’s distraught and dismay. Lee and Alex had a falling out, but Rapio sort of forced Lee to get back in touch with him. During this little meeting with Rapio, it reminds Lee his ability to communicate with Samuel was not removed, and he can still contact him whenever he wants. Lee ponders this for quite a while before eventually giving into temptation half a year later and summoning Samuel. Lee is obsessive towards him, and it’s very obvious in his actions. Samuel, despite still holding a lot of love for Lee, knows it’s unhealthy and formally ends the relationship, much to lees dismay and sadness.
