The story follows Grayson Crawford, a professional hockey player whose life is spiraling after the death of a family member. His drinking, scandals, and bad decisions are putting both his career and his team at risk. To repair his image, he agrees to a fake relationship for publicity purposes. The only problem? The woman he wants to fake-date is Bella Stratford, his personal assistant, who already spends most of her time cleaning up his messes while trying to keep her own life from falling apart. Bella has taken the job to help pay for her mother's medical care and has no interest in trusting men again. Naturally, this means the universe immediately forces them into a fake relationship.

What readers seem to love most is that Grayson isn't your typical arrogant sports-romance hero. Underneath the hockey-player reputation, he's shy, grieving, and genuinely kind, which caught a lot of readers off guard. Bella is similarly well-liked because she's guarded, practical, and refuses to be swept away by charm alone. Online Order

I made an online order today. I was looking for “Deadly Occupants” by Mads Rafferty (3rd book on the list) but I couldn’t find it at my local book store. So, that means I have to order it online when I can’t get it at my local book store. I ended up buying a gift card and bought it online. While I was shopping online, I ended up getting two other books to go with it.
