MF Doom & Czarface - Czarface Meets Metal Face (2018) I have to say that MF Doom must be the most consistent rapper I've ever heard. He sounds nearly the same on this new project as be die way back on Operation Doom's Day (1999). On Czarface Meets Metal Face doom continues to have his villainous themes and relentless flows. His creative lines blend perfectly with with the comic book like beats and production. I don't know how doom has been able to stay so fresh sounding yet so consistent and timeless his whole career. MF Doom sounds like what a comic book feels like. As for Czarface, I'm less familiar of his work. He holds his own here though. I get the impression that he plays a character similar to how Doom does. I think they make a great pair because they seem to have such a similar style. When hear them talk to each other I feel a sense of nostalgia for something I've never heard before. I feel like I'm listening to He-man talk to Skelestor or some other old cartoon from my childhood. Just about every track on here paint a vidid picture in my mind. I feel like I need to be eating captain crunch when I hear these songs. Overall This is great project with good production and lyrics are very memorable. One of my only complaints would be that doom hasn't really done anything different than he's ever ever before. He just does basicly what he's been doing his whole career.
