Im spiralling because i realized literally a character from Goncharov, what the fuck man. Im just trying to exist, but apparently i cant have a normal time because im a damn killer for the mob? Can a man never know peace?
There were always expectations set for each and every person. Everyone subjected to act and appear what others imagine; have beauty or sculpture-like looks, to be intelligent and the definition of perfection, to have obedience and manners, and most importantly, fame and money . . .
But no one accepted those that were below such absurd and impossible imagery; those that suffered complications and hardships (that neither asked, neither wanted), becoming the insignificant "errors" of the world. Those that were subjected to neglect and mistreatment, treated as if they were diseases to the world . . .
Yet, they didn't expect that those subjected to such ideals of both would turn, accepting their imperfections that the world cringed at, rising with the "flawed," the "defected," to create their own twisted empire where the controllers, the taunters, are punished, suffering the worse by the hands of the disturbed . . .
No one expected that the so-called "Angel" would become the bringer of madness, leading a parade of madness through their cities to claim justice. To rid the world of the first sinner, empowering and becoming the superior of insanity.
For guess the kin... Some of my more obscure ones.
1. A tech nerd from a 90s pc game that was based off of a set of 3 arcade games that was done by rival studio of Disney in the 80s.
2. A long haired crass blonde dude with a 100% straight best friend who go on wild adventures including meeting god and saving a monkey from lab tests.
3. A non-human lab test experiment who's brain runs like a radio with different stations and is voiced by a famous passed comedian.
4. An Elvis fanatic who claims to be a "cool dude" but also becomes the family babysitter.
5. Another Elvis fanatic with mental instability, who marries quickly and tries to dodge cops and the mafia with his money and now wife.
6. A evil scientist who updates his followers online on how his plan is coming into fruition meanwhile trying to get the girl.

Tobacco smoke made the dingy lights of the speakeasy look almost holy, with rays of gold illuminating the blackjack table. The room was uncharacteristically quiet, with the bar- goers and dancers all whispering, watching the match. Some had even pulled up chairs and bought rounds of drinks and food.
Lorelei Chiarello leaned forward, pushing a chip worth 50$ forward. "Hit me," she spoke, sanguine lipstick contouring her words.
The dealer, a man by the name of Cirino Donati, handed Lorelei another card. His glare could kill, as he watched this woman play as if she owned the place. Cirino was a skilled dealer, but this was the fifth round, and Lorelei had wracked up hundreds of dollars. Hundreds of his dollars. The table was going two-to-one, so each bet that Lorelei put in would be doubled when she won.
Lorelei and Cirino set their cards down. Lorelei had an ace and a Queen, and Cirino had a nine and a three.
“I’ll take my 100 dollars, Ciri,” Lorelei smiled, putting her hand out for her pay. “You’re counting cards!” someone from the crowd yelled.
Lorelei laughed. “No clue what you mean!”
A man walked out of the crowd, nearly a spitting image of Cirino. The man’s twin brother, Drago. He pulled out a pistol.
“Put the money back, you cheating bitch.”
“That’s not very sportsman-like,” Lorelei seemed unfazed, putting her winnings in her purse. “I think I’ll be taking my leave.”
Drago cocked his gun. “You’re not going anywhere, passerotta,” he sneered the final word.
Lorelei sighed. She stood up. “I was really hoping it wouldn’t come to this.”
Lorelei made no movement, but both brothers froze as bullets went through their stomachs. The pair collapsed, the crowd gasping and shuffling away. Except for one, a redhead stepping up to Lorelei’s side.
“Well done, Red.”
“All in a day’s work,” Virgil ‘Red’ Lavoie chuckled, elbowing Lorelei. “But uh, were you actually counting cards?”
“Does it matter?” Lorelei shrugged, stepping over the prone bodies of the Donati brothers.
“I just want to know if I got gunpowder on this new dress for nothing!” Virgil exclaimed, jumping awkwardly over the bodies. He followed Lorelei out to the street, and the pair continued the night, bringing it to a new speakeasy. New speakeasy, new money, new enemies.
@generationalsins asked: “choose. it’s me or it’s him. you can’t have both.” teen cass to teen frank about SAL
suddenly questions!
What kind of choice was that?! How did she even think that there was one to be made?? SHE wasn’t a choice-- she wasn’t an OPTION! In his wildest fuckin’ dreams Frankie knew better than to ever think of her as anything other than Mr. Scozzari’s daughter. It was like the old Muhammad Ali quote-- if he even dreamed of crossing any kind of improper line with Cassie, Frankie knew his job was to wake up and make some kind of respectful amends to her family. He had been allowed the gracious boon of being the best of friends with her, in addition to his self-appointed position as bodyguard over his Capo’s first-born child. And that was a tricky enough position to play! Reporting Cassie’s adventures to Sal so that he’d know Frankie was keeping an eye on her and there was nothing to worry about, and yet holding back just enough to continue enjoying her confidence himself.
“C’mon, Cass...” Alright-- sue him. Maybe he’d skipped a few amend-making sessions-- MAYBE he’d daydreamed a time or two or more of leaning in just that much closer when Cassie was playing her records, ribbin’ him good, laughing against her will at his awful jokes... In dreams maybe he’d stolen that kiss off of her pretty glossed lips and felt his heart race from it. He hadn’t known it showed; or maybe this is just that women’s intuition he’s heard so much about?? Can she look into his unguarded eyes and read his mind just like an Italian woman would? ...It’d make sense if she could, Frankie doesn’t really think of her as anythin’ but Italian on account of her relation to Sal. He certainly doesn’t-- DIDN’T dare hope that she saw anything more than a sharp-dressed nuisance when she did look at him. Honestly, he’d thought she was probably making time with any one of the guys that hung around her when they snuck out at night-- he didn’t judge, hell, he was impressed! If he couldn’t catch her neckin’ with some guy, nobody could and that meant her reputation would remain INTACT! He’d be able to say with a clean conscience and plenty of plausible deniability that he’d been there and seen no one lay a hand on her. Maybe he should have examined a little closer why he was so proud of that. “What’re ya tryin’ t’get me killed? Don’t say that kind’a joke where somebody could hear! What if they thought you was serious, huh?! Your old man’s got ears everywhere-- next thing I know, I’m coolin’ my heels on the docks with a blindfold on.”
It occured to him as the easiest out-- certainly easier than acknowledging all that she had uncovered with her grown womanly magic. Easier than admitting, He’ll never let me have you, Cass-- he’s the Boss and I’m just a soldier. So there go the jokes again-- the Italian opera that comes to him so naturally, enacted right where they’re standing as if there really were either an audience to see or hidden ears to hear and report what he tries to sell as a tease.
“S’just me, Sal...” Just him. A dead man sitting in an old man’s living room. Did he even have a name anymore? Frank Castle was dead. The man in all black now holding his hands where his once father could see them only had a purpose-- a mission, but little personal left to him except the barely there fraying threads between his ambling corpse and the life that had inhabited it before. A life that had included a place at this man’s side, from childhood through youth straight to rocky adulthood when he fumbled the place being opened up for him and traded it for a four year contract in the Marines and had to use leave time to earn back the love and affection of which he’d become unworthy.
And now he was here to potentially become unworthy all over again. On the low coffee table between them there lay a file, a dossier on the Costa family compiled by Frank’s own hands; a picture of Bruno Costa paper-clipped right at the top of it. He needed to know, even if it wouldn’t stop him, if that man-- that family, were connected at all to Sal’s own enterprise. They’d certainly had a representative in attendance at the massacre of his own.
