SouMako Ao3 fics that I enjoy so making this fabulous list and links are in the titles as well:

- Ethereal Souls - by far one of my favorites using an angels and demons AU with angst and a sense of loss of time. What I enjoyed about this fic is that the characters are very much in character. I also like it’s light dark theme to go with it. The romance is very cute.

- Dark Heart Bright Eyes - one of my long time favorites and by my awesome good friend and fabulous writer. I love angst and dark themes, which is rare in the SouMako fandom. I mean rare because nobody else wants to challenge such an angsty genre, but I love it nonetheless. This fic is beautiful. Each chapter is in first person point of view, and I love how each chapter is crafted with poetic words and emotions. 

- Seventh Wish - this fic has one of my favorite AUs, the Gladiators with fierce warriors and young priests with some angst. It’s a heavy fic with lots of smut. It’s heavy on the mind as well so caution yourself if you want to read this fic. The chapters are very lengthy as well.

I have reread these fics twice and it hurts me because they’re unfinished. I recommend this small list to those would love to enjoy some good reading.

Cherry blossom viewing with sousuke and makoto

SouMako headcannon - when they watch scary movies together, Makoto would usually cling to Sousuke’s arm and hold a whaleshark plushie. Makoto shrieks a lot and duck behind Sousuke’s shoulder. Sousuke would try to encourage Makoto to keep watching, but he doesn’t mind Makoto hiding behind him while whimpering

“Makoto, this is your idea to watch the movie together. You should keep watching.” Sousuke would chuckle as he have lost interest in the film.

“I-I know. I-I was just curious about- eeeeek!!!” Makoto quickly ducks back after a failed attempt to watch the film.

SouMako au - Sousuke coming home late in the evening, he spots Makoto sleeping on the couch covered in a blanket fast asleep with the TV still playing. He walks over and kneels before the couch, kissing Makoto’s forehead before carefully carrying Makoto in his arms and he walks over to their bedroom.

SouMako AU - Makoto waits at the airport for Haru’s return. He sees a brooding man walking constantly back and forth every fifteen minutes, starring at the board’s list of flights, leaving right afterwards. For umpteenth time, the same person comes back, looking frustrated than ever, and Makoto decides to help him, so he goes up to him. Makoto asks with his most polite smile ever, “Excuse me, are you lost?”

The guy just stands there for a minute, starring. He blurts out, “I’m lost in your eyes.”
