Tooth troubles

The almighty king of Sindria would like to think of himself as untouchable. After all, what purpose did years of adventuring serve other than toughening his skin and resolve? Sharpening his wits and honing his skills? If he was subdued by anything then it must have been quite the formidable force of nature- -
“Oww, my tooth...”
Or a toothache, of course.
Sinbad whined, face pressed against the cool side of his desk. In retrospect, he shouldn’t have finished all those sweet treats Marga gave him but he just couldn’t stop after the first bite. Or the second. Or the fifth.
“Make it stoppp...”
And so the ‘almighty king’ is reduced to a petulant child, unwilling to budge from his seat lest the pain got worse.

He blinked, eyes hidden under the violet fringe that perpetually obscured them. Wasn’t she that little goi who-Doron blinked again, lithe arms crossed over his chest as he frowned down at her. “What?” the magician snarled, silently of the opinion she should count herself lucky he was in an almost amicable mood.

Oh look, a tiny child who's ready to climb Koumei like a tree for attention. "Mei mei!"
“Huh?” The prince had been falling asleep while standing up so it took him a few moments to realise who was trying to get his attention. Looking down he smiled and sat down, opening his arms for Marga.
“How long has it been?? You have grown since I last saw you!”
What was a bored child to do while tagging along on a diplomatic visit? Well....wander off to explore and attempt to cure her boredom of course. She was doing a determined little march down one of the Kou palace's many hallways just as a way to entertain herself, until she came across the library. Peeking in she saw the prince, fast asleep at one of the tables and decided to go up to him, lightly poking his side. "Hey mister, are you dead?
Koumei awoke almost instantly. Years of conditioning from his brother made him a light sleeper. He opened one eye, looking around for the source of the voice, and saw a little girl standing in front him.
"No, I'm not. Are you lost, little one?" Koumei sat up and started rolling up his scrolls.

Muu was surprised by the sudden cuddles, but was glad that Marga was there. Marga was truly a sweet child and he loved her dearly.
He simply hugged her close. not saying a word.
