So this is completely unrelated to today’s episode, I’ve said what I wanted to say about it.

But anyway, this is more about the Paperinik universe. You know how PK and Double Duck are confirmed same universe, same Donald, same time? And Donald has to hide two different secret identities?

Well, what if we just threw a little Kingdom Hearts in there as well- a Donald who is a mage/sorcerer, as well as Paperinik and Double Duck. Existing inside the DT17 universe. (Yep, let’s cross everything over! Hooray! But like, literally just the magic from Kingdom Hearts, like none of the plot lol)

He’s stopped being a superhero when he has to take the kids in, and while he’s still technically an agent he’s semi-retired, only called for the BIG jobs- it’s a beast finding a babysitter when he suddenly gets a “job” he can’t bring the kids to... But imagine him hiding his magic not only from his family, but also from Uno, Lyla, Kay and everyone he knew as his alter egos. The only people who knew about his magic were the people he grew up with. 

Uno doesn’t believe in magic so Donald actively hid it from him (and when Uno returns to Earth with Ducklair years after Donald quit being PK, Donald continues trying to hide it, but it’s harder when Uno comes back as an android and is able to actually walk around freely...), he didn’t trust the agency he worked for as Double Duck to not try and take advantage of his magic, he hides it from Huey, Dewey and Louie out of a desire to protect them (backfires spectacularly when they turn out to have element-based magic lol (fire, water and flora, in keeping with their colour schemes)), he hides it from Scrooge because of Magica, he hid it from Gyro for the same reason he hid it from Uno...

Only his closest friends (Mickey and Goofy), his high school sweetheart (Daisy) and her best friend (Minnie), his sister (Della) and his cousins (Fethry and Gladstone) knew, and the cousins only knew because Gladstone grew up with Donald so witnessed it firsthand, and Donald used magic to save Fethry’s tailfeathers when they were children. He trained himself in secret from a young age, and during his teen years before he became Paperinik he found someone to help him. He continued practicing/training while being PK and DD, and even after retiring from adventuring, heroing and full-time secret agenting, he continued to practice so that he wouldn’t accidentally hurt his boys.

Oh, the triplets find out magic exists when Huey nearly burns down the houseboat, Dewey nearly sinks the houseboat, and Louie nearly splits the houseboat into pieces with vines... all in the same night. Donald helps them get their elemental abilities under control, all without revealing his own magic to them (old habits die hard).

And long story short, they get into a situation that leaves Donald with no choice but to reveal himself to all these people he had tried so hard to hide it from in order to save them all, and the triplets use their elements to help while Webby kicks butt with a spear.
