"Absent Minds" by Kelly Digges
What MTG novel/story should I read?
The Brother's War (novel)& more recent story
Forsaken 🫠
Gatewatch stories from Origins
Gatewatch stories starting from "Homecoming"
Wilds of Eldraine
Write in option
(reserved for monstra)
Kaladesh. Puppets.
This is so painfully one-sided because next story she's sharing like a really meaningful moment with Nissa and I can't stop fucking laughing
Kaladesh. Renewal.

I love seeing Gideon use his intuitive understanding of people. And that it shows that he's able to pick up on even subtle signs.
There's also the unsaid part where he's manipulating (?) or social engineering Liliana into a bond. He's calculated in how he lowers his own guard — or gives the appearance thereof — in an effort to make her lower her own. He's (maybe) trying to see if she can truly be counted on, if she's a better person than everyone (even she) believes. But I'm sure he's also ready to react if she's not that good a person after all.
But also allowing himself to be used I think because it's fairly obvious that she is only here bc there's something for her not just companionship (but not necessarily not companionship at all) but willing to do so in the hopes that she'll be willing to help out after. (worst thing he loses is helping someone ungrateful, but it wouldn't be the first time that's happened)
He never stops analyzing. And he takes everything so seriously ❤️ and v attentive to others.
I do love the silent communication. I just have no idea what Liliana learned from this.
Oh god no one told me Liliana was back in the story, guess what went RIGHT up my list 👀
eta: Oh god I can't focus on the yt video at all 😭 not while working 😭 I'm gonna have to reread the actual words 😭
Love to see Dina back though
Idk why this line lit up my brain but 👀
Official audio for magic story starts at uhhhh Wilds of Eldraine, I think? But VOA/Moiselle's ends at uhhhh The Brother's War.
So that's where the audiobook gap lies for me.
Anyway, I'll post my thoughts on the Duskmourn story this weekend (hopefully!) Or I'll end up posting a video about it. Maybe. Dunno yet lol
