Rubbing his temple with his free hand, James bended over a little, elbows finding his thighs and resting there. "No I can't, if you haven't noticed it's two in the morning I am not human right now, and even less, smart."

James rolled over, almost fell off of the bed, frown decorating his forehead and a loud frustrated groan leaving his lips. He could just ignore it, yes, he was sleeping, sleepy people don't hear loud guitar noises and they don't react to them, nope. He placed a pillow over his head and tried to even his breath once more.
However he couldn't, the insistent caller kept re-starting the song and his patients was growing thin, as well as his concern. So, quicker than he should have, he sat on the bed, and reached for his mobile. Eyes burning at the glowing light, and he damned himself for not learning.
"This better be important Haein, I gotta work tomorrow."

Phonophobia – fear of loud sounds
There's things one can't control, James is the living example of that, however ironically he still gets mad when something unexpected happens because, most of the times, unexpected means surprising and surprising means loud, and there is nothing he hates more than loud, surprising noises.
They don't make him squeal and hide like a second grader school girl, but the little jump and the paleness are there, embarrassing him over and over again. That's why he hates jump scares in movies, not because of the monster, but because they are always beside a short yet loud string of music that makes his ears beep and his heart bounce in his chest.
It happens rather often, however, due to the fact that Seoul is a busy city and car horns are its soundtrack, he can manage those, he just closes his eyes in a frustrated expression and moves on, and so much more. Still, thought, the nearer the noise, the better and more pitiful his reaction
And of course, for once that he has a free hour to spend with his friend, who happens to be on winter break, there's this kid that has to explode his balloon right beside him, only to giggle and run away from his mom's scolding. James jumps slightly, hand going towards the girl but not getting to touch her, for he withdraws it before. "Stupid kids..."he mumbles under his breath

who cooks normally?:
As much as James likes cooking he can't help wrapping his arms around the female while she is cooking them breakfast
how often do they fight?:
Not very often, they argue sure, but not actual fights. Nothing that a make out session can't resolve.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?:
James is a busy man, Haein a girl with schedules and classes, but they always have time for a call or a face time

Haehae, babe, cupcake (only when he is feeling too cheesy), baby girl
who is more likely to pay for dinner?:
James. When she insists and he can see the edge of an argument he gives in. But most of the time is James.
who steals the covers at night?:
Haein, but it's okay, because he wraps himself over her from behind and places his head on her nape and falls back to sleep.
what would they get each other for gifts?:
James would have a hard time, because he has no clue what to get her, something handmade? something cheesy and typical? clothes? But he tend to buy her jewelery, gadgets, anything really.
who remembers things?:
Both. And still they want to surprise each other succeeding most of the time.
who cusses more?:
Just for a slightly bit more, since he has to control it, James
what would they do if the other one was hurt?:
James would panic if Haein got badly injured, he wouldn't be able to eat or sleep, just wanting to stay by her all the time. If it's just a cold or a flu, James would cook for her and keep her company, always asking if the pillow is too soft or if she is too cold and what does she want to eat.
who kissed who first?:
James was the one who stole a peck from her lips when she was babbling about finals, seeing that he was about to freak out
who made the first move?:
James promised her to take her on a date once she had passed all the exams, does that count?
who started the relationship?:
Both, after the first date.

11. Watching a children’s tv show
Knees against his chest, James hugged himself by his legs, chin resting on the pillow trapped between his limbs and his torso. The TV buzzing in front of him, as the early morning laziness still very clung onto him, eyes dropping in exhaustion, yaws making him almost break his jaw every now and then.
And then that intro. That children song he used to know by heart before it got erased by commands and shouts. A song about starting adventures and don't be afraid of anything. He had started singing alone, stupid smile plastered on his face as his voiced echoed through the room, the male on the television being the perfect back up singer as he preformed on the spot.
Eyes shut, arms stretched and imitating the gestures shown on the screen. James' voice cracked a few times due to the high pitched key but he kept going. Until a nearer noise startled him. "Oh...you are awake? I am watching what has to be my early childhood in a show. Want to join me?"
