I loved painting the cover for this issue. It’s covered with plants with wonderful shapes and associations: nasturtiums, Chinese lanterns, spurge, and oregano, with a friendly snail, magic lights, and a border of winding vines. I’ve truly enjoyed every bit of making this issue and working with the wonderful people who gave the gift of their talents and thoughts. I’m so lucky to have gathered such a good group over the past few years and that you have all taken part in our collective vision. . We want to continue the conversation even without another issue next year, so all backers will soon have a chance to join a Hazel Discord group and continue the magic.
