this is an amazing question, thank you so much! i have a playlist for aquilinus that i'd love to post, but unfortunately spotify doesn't let you change usernames. /rolls eyes. as for the rest of my garleans, i tend to fit songs related to his unit, and garlean perspectives in general, onto his playlist too.
i'm cutting this response down from a really long one. i think i'll make a separate post analysing the lyrics on my playlist and describing why i've chosen some of the songs. for this ask, here are two of my favourite songs for aquilinus with a chosen part and my related interpretation of them.
aquilinus's ultimate "theme song" and my favourite song ever to represent him is "ring 4 - patrol" by the dear hunter.
if my morals seem a bit mislaid, it might be easy to forget.

my favourite, favourite lyrics ever for him. ever! this is the embodiment of his story in a few sentences. i stress the hierarchy he's prey to, and equally complicit in. he's a commander, but takes orders from a higher commander, with his life in that man's hands. he has so much guilt, and ultimately, the majority of it comes from this reason alone. if he says no, he'll be killed. if he was a braver man, he might, but he's not. there are a lot of lyrics in this song that scream him, the empire, and the imperial army.
my second favourite. "and the snakes start to sing" by bring me the horizon.

it feels empty and sorrowful. to do his job, aquilinus has essentially killed his soul and subdues his feelings with his smoking habit. the imperial army takes what it wants from its talented men, and so he's an empty willing husk; sharpen your teeth, sink them into your prey. he's already given himself to them. that includes his unit, and anybody else that may find use of him. empty lovers.
