If you imagine reformed Sandor and grown up Sansa as a happily married couple... things get cute real fast! haha I think they're both just soo soft inside, especially Sandor, that after all is said and done they'd be the mushiest couple.
Good point. I could see that with a reformed Sandor who is more comfortable with that kind of expression. Perhaps just in private. I have no doubt inside he would really dig having a real “lady love.” I don’t think he would radically change his personality, but perhaps quietly leave her little tokens of affection without saying too much about it. Of course, Sansa would understand and thank him accordingly. Probably by playing music and singing him the old songs as he unwinds at the end of the day. Hey, look I just headcanoned! :D

I must say though that while I’m totally able to see the romantic tension between them, I’m not sold on the romance being endgame. Because I think that Kylo has been too foolish in his appointment as Emperor. He needs a redemption arc and I’m not confident that he’ll get one unless a greater figurehead of the paragon of evil rises.
I have to admit I am not so invested in the Star Wars world to have an informed opinion on this topic - so Kylo is now the über-baddie? But what if his redemption arc is to let that all go and make room for whoever is the next in line? Or what if Rey joins him in the ambivalent grey area, not purely black or white? Oh, I shouldn’t even speculate, so little I know! But yeah, whether it is an endgame or not, their relationship surely IS (already now) important!

Har, I thought I must be one of the very last - it has been around so long already...I just haven’t had a burning desire to watch it before. I have had for a while too (on a computer) - just didn't find a suitable time. But I have to say that it was very entertaining, and the inclusion of certain ambivalence about good and bad and a conflicted villain really adds tons of layers to it, so well done!

Honestly! It baffles me too that there's any question of there being a romantic connection. Whether you ship it or not (and I'm not quite enough into the SW fandom to call myself a shipper) it's pretty clear that the writers are building a romance between them. I find the arguments over this kind of bizarre.
Me too! I have seen some discussions about it, mostly in view of people against Reylo, and I am like; one can obviously not like the connection, and even hate it - but to deny it or its importance or that it is something profoundly significant to both of them is absolutely impossible! Personally, I would like to see them together endgame or transient, but I am not heavily invested. Time will tell, I guess!
@maidenoftheforestlight you asked who did the goth costuming this year. Michele Clapton (Top & bottom left) is costume designer. There’s certainly some impressive embroidery and cloth that’s been created for GoT but it’s clear the theme this year is an almost Sci-Fi, all black one.

I’m certain that Sandor frequents prostitutes. I’m also certain that he judges Tyrion for his “sexual deviance” and that this doesn’t clash with his own actions in his mind because that’s how ableism works. Sandor can frequent prostitutes and still judge Tyrion because a person like Tyrion is seen as inherently sexually deviant.
Look, I’m sure you mean well, but the desire to see the sexuality of able-bodied men as pure (to the point where you do not believe what is actually in the text) plus the demonization of the sexuality of disabled men (and specifically men with dwarfism) is a thing both in the real world and in the text that Tyrion deals with specifically.

Yes! This is what I'm talking about! There's no way GRRM isn't making a point by having LF say that to Sansa... Who just so happens to a "thing" for a guy called "Sandor"! Come on! You also don't name characters similar things like this in the first place by coincidence...
I wonder if Sansa will ever make that connection... Like "aww our names sound cute together...". Isn't there some kid called Sandor somewhere at the Vale tourney? Maybe Myranda will tease Sansa about that guy, like "Ohhhh Sansa and Sandor! You'd sound so sweet together if you got married!" And Sansa will be like... "Oh! That does sound good!" It would be so awesome if she gave her favour at the tourney to that guy, just for sentimental reasons...
Right, exactly, the "San/San" could be a coincidence, but when GRRM actually has characters in the story point out relationships with alliterative or rhyming names and say how nice it is (whether sardonically in LF’s case or truly in Tysha’s), then at the very least you know he’s doing it on purpose. Though why he’s doing it on purpose... gah, I haaate waiting for this, I do.
Sandor Frey is indeed in the Vale, a squire to one of Lady Waynwood’s sons. His little sister Cynthea is her ward, as well. (Their mother was a Waynwood, though we don’t know how she was related to the family yet.) Because of this close connection to Lady Waynwood, who is also the guardian of Harry Hardyng, I am pretty darn certain that Sandor Frey and “Alayne” will interact in TWOW, yes. The fact that he’s only a little younger than Sansa is, and probably a big kid because of his Crakehall blood... makes me a little nervous, I have to admit. As does his Frey-ness, especially.
Now, Sansa will probably be able to control herself from obviously showing distaste for the name, though inside I’m sure she’ll be steaming. Actually, considering how people in the Vale (and all over Westeros) are disgusted by Freys now, maybe Sandor and Cynthea will be calling themselves Waynwoods? (Heck, since Harry is claiming the Arryn sigil for himself on his shield, it would not be unprecedented.)
But either way I don’t think Sansa will be giving him her favor -- he is only a squire, not nearly important enough to make Harry jealous -- if he’s even at the tourney, as Donnel Waynwood is the Knight of the Gate and thus has a job to do at the Bloody Gate, which would include his squire Sandor. Though surely Ser Donnel wouldn’t begrudge his young squire from seeing all the pageantry of this amazing new Tourney for the Brotherhood of the Winged Knights, so maybe he will show up for a bit? augh, I want TWOW now...

yeah, this actress has more of the “vibe” of Sansa to me. A sort of vulnerability and sweetness that comes through on screen (Even though she is not actually playing a particularly “sweet” character in Lucrezia Borgia).
I agree. I’m not a fan of ST for Sansa. She lacks vulnerability and sweetness big time IMO. Softness also. I prefer this actress for Sansa.
