So what is up with Hank being a anthropomorphic lion? Really did like the beauty and the beast costume thing with Emma and Hank. So if you have an story behind it or it's just a reference to the comics, I'm asking out of curiosity about it.

But feline hank is a very real thing to the comics!

What it is, is a secondary mutation much like Emma Frost’s Diamond form that is also introduced in this run.

It’s also this run that gives them a very fun friendship. I really wish that more comics had this energy again between the two.

He is just generally “feline” in most of the run with him, and I put my own spin on it cause I can. Like are the comics brave enough to give the kitty cat man a tail? No. Am I? It’s actually a requirement thank you.

Though the Wolverine and the X-men (2014) comic run has a gorgeous design for him

And as you can see, the design in this run has a more lion like quality. I just go full force despite mixing some other parts of Big Cat into the way I doodle him acting.

Honestly if you want to know more I highly suggest going over to @positivelybeastly which I hope they doesn’t mind me tagging them

Anything Hank related they got it. Their understanding of the character and analysis are something I would die for and they go into Feline hank as well! We share a heavy liking for this version of Hank.
