Ok, I continued browsing the Good Omens tag and found this gem (https://sluttiel.tumblr.com/post/186041945642/crowley-is-claustrophobic-and-zira-is-kenophobic) but it made me think of another thing.Â
So Crowleyâs place is open, covered in green, the statue of the angel and demon struggling, and minimal appearance. I canât believe that I didnât make the connection to the Garden of Eden the first time around. But Crowleyâs treatment towards the plants is a large aspect too. Planting the fear of God, demanding perfection, that they remain healthy and beautiful, even when in fear. Somebody made the connection that it might be his way of dealing with how Hell operates, but honestly, it almost sounds like him coping with the way Heaven works. The angels demanding beauty and perfection with this overhanging fear surrounding the workplace.Â
Aziraphaleâs place touches on this too. There is angelic symbolism, but it is buried in dim light and crowded bookshelves and so on. I imagine that he had to hide as often as he could from the others. I think he got very good at manipulating words and rules of the system just to get some peace. (I know that some folks have made a point about Aziraphale knowing how to work the system to get what he wants, and what he wants is to be left alone, but I canât find that post again). But he hoards mistakes. Misprinted bibles, books with typos or even books with words written in the margins. He keeps them hidden away the same way he keeps himself hidden.Â
Why does that matter though? Long story short, Crowley falling was a mistake. Aziraphale keeps him like some of us keep cats. Free to come and go, but always with a home in mind. Aziraphale, as far as Crowley is concerned, is the only good thing left about Heaven and Eden. He is the only form of goodness that is also loving. There is no perfection in Aziraphale, only acceptance. So Crowley keeps him too.Â
i wanted to write out my entire canon lyanna !! just in case ppl had some questions that might have not been addressed in her about page. so iâll start from the beginning.
                     THE SHE WOLF.
Lyanna is 17 when she first catches the eye of Robert Baratheon, a loud and boorish man, whom she enjoyed simply for company in playful battle or the hunt. She often admired his strength and humor, however, nothing more. In fact, often times Robert and Lyanna would share tales about women they have admired, her charm and beauty quick to capture many curious girls; but Robert seemed to ignore this fact, and requests her engagement. With her hand promised to a man she cannot stand, Lyanna searches for any means to an escape. She had hoped her wild nature and lingering gaze upon the tender curves of women would lead him astray -- but Robert was ever blinded by unrequited love...
THE KNIGHT OF THE LAUGHING TREE.
Ever mysterious knight steps into light during the Tourney at Harrenhal, voiceless but swift in sword and quick beyond belief. So fascinating was the knight that hardly noticed petite stature, all but one -- the Prince himself. The Knight had left as quickly as they came, but skill could not go unacknowledged -- and so Lyanna finds crown of winter roses tossed upon her lap, with a knowing look in violet jewels. The crown, however, meant for the most beautiful brought whispers and gossip to the lips of viewers -- overshadowing any doubts to the mysterious knightâs identity -- instead, Lyanna became the center of scorn, the reason to Rhaegarâs âbetrayalâ to betrothed. Despite the whispers, Lyanna finds a certain lure to the Dragon Prince, his charm quick to befriend the wolf maidenâs wild heart. Among the months of her 18th year, they write and share -- Rhaegar learning of her predicament, longing for freedom from engagement, and Lyanna (naive and still unaware of her own sexuality) quickly misinterprets fondness for the Dragon Prince as love. A promise is made, Rhaegar offering liberation from Robertâs hands should Lyanna promise her love (and consequently, her womb -- wishing to fulfill prophecy promised upon his name). And so, they meet in the dead of the night, and Lyanna is finally granted freedom from the term WIFE.Â
                   THE âABDUCTIONâ.
contrary to the tale many recall, Lyanna was never abducted, however, willingly left with Rhaegar in hopes of liberation from engagement with Robert Baratheon. The act, and misunderstanding of it, sparked the rebellion and Robertâs Rage. Lyanna, however, cared little for such. In her mind -- she was free, and with a man who not only acknowledged her beauty, but the wolf that rests beneath it. Living now in the Tower of Joy, Lyanna attempts to love a man she had used for means of escape. However, love does not blossom between the two -- despite deep caring and affection, the âcoupleâ struggles to find anything beyond friendship -- but realization did not come before conception. (Note: Remember that Lyanna misunderstood her own affection for Rhaegar as love. Having never been in love with a man before, Lyanna did was she thought was right, including yes, laying with him.) NOTE: Rhaegarâs marriage to Elia is never annulled, and the child she carries she understands to be named a bastard. Still, the child is another possibility of the prophecy.Â
                     THE PROMISE.
When Ned finally finds beloved sister, he finds her in a bed of blood and roses, the birth of her babe far too soon -- and complications to infants birth took toil on young mother (contrary to canon, Lyanna is almost 20 at the time of her death). Rhaegarâs son is given to Eddard in hopes to keep him -- knowing far too well that Robertâs rage could bring death upon her beloved boy. Eddard, troubled by the sight of dying sister -- and unable to risk the infantâs life agrees, and so her son, Jon, is given the name Snow...Â
                  THE WOLF LIVES ON.
In most verses in which Lyanna survives the complications of childbirth, Jon is given to Eddard in hopes to keep him safe. I have a couple options when it comes to post-rebellion verses. They are as follows:Â
1. The rebellion wins, and Lyanna is returned to Winterfell with Jon in hand. She raises Jon as assigned caretaker. She is given a noble home to keep in the North. However, Eddard agrees to fulfill her wish, allowing Jon to be named his son in hopes to keep Robertâs rage far from the child. Jon is âgivenâ to Lyanna for care. Eventually, Jon will be told the truth, from Lyanna herself, as she cannot bring herself to lie to her son...
2. The rebellion wins, and Lyanna is returned to Robertâs hand, with fear of potential discovery, Jon is given to her brother, Eddard, where she insists for his safety under his and Catelynâs care. Lyanna lives an unhappy life in Kingslanding, married to a man she could never love, miles away from her son, and stuck to be a woman she isnât.Â
3. The rebllion loses and Lyanna is returned to Kingslanding with Rhaegar. Rhaegar and Lyanna continue their friendship while raising Jon. Lyanna lives a happy life in Kingslanding, away from Rhaegar and his royal family. However, are often visited. Elia and Lyanna would, understandingly, have a rocky relationship -- even despite Lyanna admitting her sexuality, and her lack of love for the Queenâs Husband.Â

As they say on the news â 'Here's the main points again....'

am I the only one who remembers Putin writing a New York Times op-ed in the spring of 2006 where he called the NATO missile shield expansion a grave threat to world peace? He made the same argument Jimmy Carter made and I found it rational and sympathize still with the position that we need to return to the MAD doctrine and abandon missile shields which won't work anyway and just destabilize our world
Why does the internet now have no record of this op-ed?
WTF why am I providing the highest level mediation between west and east? The west is honestly more in the wrong than the east right now. If the west could exhume Reagan's body and put him on trial for his greivous myriad crimes against humanity then could we call that the beginning of the apology needed to move towards world peace on equal moral highground of west and east?
