she can grow roots too!! and she’s already so, so much better at pretending to be human.

‘why do the ayas make weird choices/go along with the Bad Plot Stuff?’

because they’re operating on partially-faulty, half-remembered information!!

for example, batfam!aya knows a bunch of Key Plotpoints (Jason’s death, Titans Tower Attack, Damian’s arrival, Bruce Time Travel, etc) but none of the knowledge of when they would happen, if they would happen given her presence, and what would come of if she tried to prevent them

like, in the ribblestrop part of the main stem, millie inviting miles back strains her friendship with sanchez, but if miles didn’t come back millie would have likely drowned. or in the first term, if millie didn’t get kidnapped then aya and the others would’ve gotten flattened by a train, or if millie didn’t get trapped in a freezer, nobody would know tomaz was alive.

Maintaining the Plot also means she’s less likely to get caught horrendously off guard
