It's Time to Make a Change | Pitch & Seraphina
It had been how many days since she had been attempting to locate the Autumn Lord? It was half assed, she admitted it. Each time she'd gotten the nerves to really work on finding him... that resolved crumbled.
Why did it dissolve at the thought of seeing him? And it wasn't just seeing Autumn... but any of the others. Adam too. The reason was she felt like she'd hit a dead end, and was just sitting there unsure of what to do and continued to let them down. Since she joined the world of Nature, having left behind her wandering past, she had come to realize how much the meaning of Mother Nature was important to this Realm.
And yes she had made progress, all included had made some and things where beginning to change. She was not presently capable to adapt to that change and she knew it. It was that brick wall she continuously slammed her head against.
Seraphina had reached a point where it was break through the wall or go back. And she did not want to go back to the dark gaping pit that she was presently scaling metaphorically in towards the life she could live. She had to move on, and change her mentality. She had to become willing to change with the this shift in the Realm.
Presently she sat in one of the forests cloaked in autumn. Her mind swirling with so many thoughts and multiple monologues of how she needed to change and take the reigns on her life. It was a screaming headache and she was weary of it.
Sadly each of these thoughts led her to the path of still needing to be a student, and have a mentor to teach, direct and challenge. No matter how she tried to view things from the Lord's views and how they had grown to power and in education... she was not the same. Neither was she able to go to them with the questions she had, from life to leadership, and get the answer that fit with Mother Nature.
And she knew very well this was no fault of anyone, it had always been her responsibility to learn who she was. Perhaps it had been her heart that was blocked and in distress that had kept her from Earth's voice, and now it had left her because of her foolishness. Seraphina was also very aware that what she needed in teacher was not in this realm... and though Leviathan was a good option... his role in the sea was not as active as Mother Nature needed to be.
What was there to turn to? Who was there to ask? And who would even think about agreeing to mentor the Mother Nature who had fallen short?
She sat for a many long hour, curled up against the tree and watching the sky fade from noon to dark. Mind blank as she rested.
Seraphina bolted up right when that sudden lightbulb went off in her head. There was a way that perhaps she could manage this feat, for she was owned a favor by the Nightmare King.
She gave a small shudder, as she took a moment to grasp what her sore little brain had conjured. It... It was not a horrible idea. She had moved on from a lot of her prejudice and issues with the man, and she had nothing to lose.
He'd set up a kingdom here on Earth and he managed it, which was more than what she could say for herself.
In the situation she was in she had nothing to lose and even if it was a little bit... she had much to gain. Anything was better than nothing and... she had to admit their last meeting was... well it reminded her back before they had known the relation.
He was different, she was different. They were both now close to the same tier, and if she didn't even attempt she would break the promise of doing everything she could to move forward.
The shadows around had grown as the sun was setting, and be it by instinct or hunch she spoke his name, hoping that perhaps he would come and speak with her.
"The King of Nightmares... Pitch Black... I wish to speak with you."
