Oh dear, I'm really going to think through the next time I commit to 30 consecutive days of any activity. However, I can't say I'm disappointed, the point of challenging myself was met on several levels: I encouraged myself to get my deck out very regularly and now I feel so much more familiar with it; I really pushed my layout creativity and came up with lots of inspiration that all made it into the journal, (even if it didn't make it to being posted here); and I reinvigorated my interest in creating content for Instagram again after a heavy feeling of March doldrums! I judge this 30 Days of Tarot a success (and it isn't even over yet). 🔮 The catalyst deciding factor when buying my deck (amid the torrent of signs) was the tiny depiction of the Judgement card on the box, as soon as I saw it was a Phoenix, the deal was sealed in my heart and mind and I knew I was going to love this deck. We so often put the concept of judgement in a harsh context, even if the intent is for greater good, that I feel we've forgotten that judgement is not the precursor to punishment, but to growth. When one is growing an orchard, and a tree fails to thrive, the farmer may judge his care as inadequate or the tree as afflicted, but in both cases the farmer acts on those judgments for greater growth. We often use the flames of self judgement as a means of self punishment, but it's the ashes and energy the fire produces that help seed our new growth. #30daysofTarot #majorarcanajudgment #phoenixmedicine
